update: squeezing the camera seems to solve it, according to XDA it's a hardware issue. damn, there are so many problems with this model

u r correct, after a while it comes back to haunt u, and squeezing it will return it's function, but only for a while. it's back to claim warranty then....

Maybe we can combine all transformer specific forum into one huge one, anyone wants to start an official thread and gather all users? then notify mod to close all TF forums

the default download folder for android is DOWNLOAD

but if an app has a specific folder for it's use, then it will be different.

of course it's good, no point in getting a tablet if it's not good for multitasking (psss psss ipad). i haven't had any problems with the keyboard, it's been the best accessory for me and worth every penny for it. i need it a lot for typing linux server command lines during remote access, without the keyboard it'll be a pain in the arse to type so many long commands with the software keyboard. not to mention linux passwords don't show *** when u type them, they just show blanks and without a decent hardware keyboard u will suffer. ppl always say the keys on the keyboard is hard to type cause they are too compact and too near to each other, i found it fairly easy, can type with my eyes closed (maybe because i am a pro)

the Prime has replaced my previously worn out notebook and it's doing a great job so far. but i really do hope they'll come out with a 14" model that runs both windows (x86/64) and android. even if priced at RM4k i'll buy it. 10 inch and only 1 USB port just isn't enough for movies and can only support 1 USB device

sorry a bit off topic but is D3 referring to Diablo 3? if it is I really do think it is the CRAPPIEST game Blizzard ever made. played chapter 1 and it felt like a children's game. maybe it's because I've played too much Dragon Age lately.

they used 12 years to figure out a way to DELAY piracy of the game, and not making a great game. Dragon Age Origins rules!

i buy the prime just because of the keyboard dock. now it totally replaced my laptop for office work and server remote access, sometimes entertainment. the keyboard is brilliant especially with the USB port (which saves weight because they don't have to put it in the tablet itself and they can make it thinner than any of it's competitors) and the extra battery.

did he dl those chinese apps? sometimes it's really hard to troubleshoot other ppl's device, same like my wife's TP, she loves playing those chinese games like mahjong and for a while the TP hangs quite badly.

next week. we already waited for so long, what's another few days??? the one thing that pisses me off is that my friend's moto xoom (very old model) got his JB more than 1 month ago. if it weren't for the keyboard dock and the xoom weights like an elephant, i'll get it instead of the prime. moto's updates are really really fast (almost same time as Nexus) and their devices / official firmware is very stable and quite tough.

even before google's purchase, it's updates are fairly quick. before our TP gets ICS, the xoom got it almost 1 month before us, the time frame is almost the same when they got their JB update compared to us. plus, their QC and hardware architecture is quite good, at least the products they designed didn't have so many problems like what we encountered

i'm not saying that our TP is a bad product, i'm just saying for an accomplished company like ASUS (that is not a newbie in the tech field), the guys making the products should really learn more from their competitors. i'm sure the TF300 and TF 700 are fine products, because ASUS already learned and has time to correct the mistakes they made on the TP. the problem is, these mistakes shouldn't have happened in the first place.

i still can't dl anything from server, even after done all the stuff recommended here, just checking checking then no internet connection...

anyone still has problems getting the update? mine is stock and until now still got the internet not connected problem during checking for OTA update. did clear CM / DM client data and restarted many times...

JB is really a huge difference from ICS. my single core 2 year old phone now feels like dual core with custom JB, lol

u can't compare a car (android) with a motorbike (iOS)

just like u can't compare a full desktop pc to a netbook

iOS isn't even a full OS, it's only android's app drawer

don't bother send for warranty, it can't be solved, been there, done that and after 3 months it came back

don't want to burst your bubble, u may get the green screen back later. i did (after send it for warranty 3 months ago)

now i just don't bother with the camera, didn't use it much, getting Nexus 4 so camera isn't an issue.
