My advice if u really wanna purchase a good red.. QUOTE(abesabraham @ Apr 24 2013, 11:52 AM) I hope you might divide your fish into 2 tanks in the future because that is wayyyyyyyyyyy overstocked. Not good for fish health in long term. Not to mention your tigers and bichirs will grow. If you love your fish, you will put them into a bigger or 2 separate tanks in the future. thk's bro for ur concern.. do you knwo what is the size of my tiger's.. they are at size 9-12 inch... my endy are around 8-12 inch also... my atabapo is about 10 inch my red is at size 14-16 inch.....Do your fish all get along? How long has this tank been setup with this many fishes? It really pains me to see this kinda overstocking. With all these monster I need to have good filteration that can take thier bioload.... so I think I have all the media I need to take care of those bioload |

Its not about bioload, changing water and good filteration weekly is a no brainer, meaning you must already do it. Its just I think the tank is very cramp, they need more swimming room. And besides theres no hiding place for any of the fish incase things do happen. With all these monster I need to have good filteration that can take thier bioload.... so I think I have all the media I need to take care of those bioload Do u know when these fish get bigger, they will only get more aggressive? And just because ppl say healthy and eating, can fish talk? Can they tell u hey man I need more room, no they cannot so all the smart ppl assume things. I have one uncle he got a tank 6 feet he keep 1 arowana and some pacus inside. first few week ok but u know what happened? the arowana is outgrowing the pacus, and the pacus's fins are all rotten from getting nipped by the aro, plus all of them have head injuries. You have money to buy so many expensive fish, but why not to give them more room? or rehouse them. think about it. go and google and you'll see that nobody would dare to keep so many big fish in such a small tank. just saw ur youtube, so many comments saying the same thing i am saying. bro u really need to rethink, its for the fish's best outcome. |

Dont worry bro I have done my homework.. so dont judge someone by just dumping what you dont know you are talking about cheers Your fish are still too big for that aquarium. And also I think its the same rule that applies, no big fish or not. If your aquarium is not big enough, dont try and fit things that cannot fit. Good luck to you and your fish then. I hope all these comments on ur youtube dont fall on deaf ears. This post has been edited by abesabraham: May 3 2013, 02:42 PM |

Nobody said anything about being more knowledgeable right? I've never had a big fish but I've read enough to know, cmon la, even basic rule of stocking an aquarium, I'm sure u know, ammonia levels, you just don't put as many fish as you can into a tank. Are you serious? U know i posted ur youtube on another forum and u know what happened? it got flamed man. u want me to send you the link? If you have so many tanks why u wanna put so many giant fish into one???? I really don't understand. U understand right? the basic rule of fishkeeping. I know many fish keepers wanna keep all the species of fish, but hey man, you gotta understand, the basic rules of aquarium stocking. forgive me if i sound agitated, because i really love fish and whats best for them. And i just notice something, you don't even have sand for your rays. This post has been edited by abesabraham: May 3 2013, 02:58 PM |
