i give sarong to my boy since 4 weeks
he can sleep better and longer
during materity period, he only can sleep the most 1 hour and usually is half hour. he very easy get to cry.
when sleep on sarong, maybe feel secure, maybe feel no so hot compare with mattress, he could sleep to 2 hours. when wake up, play well, always smile. exactly after 2 hours he will need to sleep again.
as i m cersus, it give me more time to rest and hv great time with my bb.
but we train him to sleep sarong only afternoon, night time will be direct to bed.
now 2 yrs old, when he tired, will take his pillow go to the bed and ask for milk. then he will sleep himself. sometime afternoon, he will sleep on the sofa and will carry him to the bed.

just tumpang this thread since there r so many sarong expert here. I've been spending my days on sarung n really cant take it anymore. plan to get a motor to rock the sarong automatically. but my husband n in laws r against it. my sil said a child of her colleague develop hyperactive n need doc consultation bcos of the motor. I've read some articles said rocking the bb is not good for their brain development.

any advice from experience parents?

for my son, i always use very light rock not like the old ppl rock it very very hard
for your information, when the bb in our stomach, we walk or doing anything, he will feel rocking
so it become a nature that rock could easily get to sleep as it similar to the environment bb hv in mum stomach
must take note that rock in constantly same speed, not sekejap fast sekejap slow
