for my son, i always use very light rock not like the old ppl rock it very very hard
for your information, when the bb in our stomach, we walk or doing anything, he will feel rocking
so it become a nature that rock could easily get to sleep as it similar to the environment bb hv in mum stomach
must take note that rock in constantly same speed, not sekejap fast sekejap slow

Dont be silly. Use sarong.

Benefits:
1. Makes the child sleeps better because of the position. (felt more secure).
2. If the child sleeps better, will be healthier, hence grows better.
3. The parents will also gets more sleep.
4. The child heads will also be rounder.

Of course, you have this problem to have to take the sarong with you but who bothers cause you wont be travelling that much with a child too. Best, get a set at your parents and in-laws places.

You can train the child to sleep on the mattress later. Not difficult.

i agree with the above, many old folks say the child head will be rounder and when they grow older, become more handsome and / or pretty...

For afternoon naps, nothing beats an old springy sarong in action.

actually there is nothing wrong with using the sarong

i grew up sleeping in d sarong too....and those myth about brain vibrate and all....no need to get worried....i came out still normal.....not crazy....hahahaha

my eldest son didn't require d sarong...now tat he's 3....he just sleeps in his own bed on his own....

my daughter on d other hand....needs d sarong....but funny thing is she only sleeps in it during day time...night time still wanna sleep in her cot
she's only 6mths by d way

i also bought the motorized thing....so far ok...just go on low speed....
try looking at QQ Baby....not bad selections

Traditional sarong is more convenient and less expensive compared with branded rockers.
