Added on January 4, 2013, 4:29 pmSince today i work in evening shift, so ive done some DIY work this morning, change stock viva brake set to myvi set. Its totally PnP, just need a brake caliper + rotor + brake pad. No need myvi wheel hub, knuckle and dust cover.
I bought a set from potong body shop, but after brush wire all the rust ive decided to use brand new disc rotor and pad cos the disc very rusty....
Some technical spec of viva and myvi brake set as comparison....

Myvi
Rotor diameter : 234mm
Caliper piston diameter : 50mm

Viva
Rotor diameter : 211mm
Caliper piston diameter : 50mm

Not so difficult....Just need basic tools to remove ur seat, to open ur door panel, time and some patient of coz.....
Also some techniques while installing the soundproof sheets....

Last time survey install 1layer soundproof at 4doors cost rm800 using no brand material... mine juz cost me rm220 using StP gold.

1bulk pack of StP gold price at rm550 contain 10sheets, so its rm55/sheet....I just use 1sheet per door.....

Do PM me if u have any enquiries, I will guide u to diy ur car.... smile.gif

Would like to check with all of you guys who did or knew about the Perodua warranty. Does Perodua give a report or something to you upon completion of warranty claimed? Please advise.

What kind of warranty report you want ? So far I claimed all the part from Perodua due of manufacture defect, I don't receive any report except a jobsheet which is said that I replace the part. That's it.

What is your concern ? hmm.gif

Even ur car didn have radio, but it already came with radio wiring/harness behind that dash and also speaker socket inside the door. I had install to my fren car b4, thought need to do wiring, but the wiring is there.

If u just want a simple basic audio, go find second hand viva original radio, and viva/myvi ori 6inch door speaker. Everything just PnP basis, just plug in ori socket, unless u buy aftermarket radio/spk then need to cut ori wire harness....
