what's the difference between those two loan schemes?

any diff in term of interest rate / hibbah ?
*
the ceiling rate for lasb-i has a ceiling rate of blr/interestif im not mistaken, its 10.95%...

for lasb conventional, no capping of the blr...

if let say blr shoot up to 11%, then lasb-i would only charge up to 10.95%

current promo by lasb-i and conv remain the same at blr-1.65%

sorry, i'm not a banker...just one of the customer who made the lasb

where do you normally invest in ASB? rclxub.gif

when I ask the banker, they told me that it is not possible to do that..i mean the 1501 ...and so on..the banker told me the number must be round up to the nearest rm10...so, in your case rm1500 only accepted

It takes a month to get the loan?
If my brother going to take it this December, he'll start paying on January? Thanks for the advice on not sharing the loan. I'm still saving monthly.

Asking since my bro suddenly showed interest.

Hi Guys,

Actually which one of the account types return the most?

if I was not mistaken ASN returned 11%++ last year and ASB only 8.95%.

does that mean I should invest more in ASN?

SOS:

http://www.asnb.com.my/asb.htm
*
ASN declared a dividend of 6.3% per unit last year...however, ASN is a variable price...the 11.++% is based on total return...that mean, there is a price increased of around 5% for ASN...you should see the 2010 total return...18.++% whoa......

2008 - (34.04%)
2009 - 43.41%..

source :ASNB annual report...

there is risk and reward there

I got a couple of grand from my parent's investment in ASW2020..I didn't know that you can invest using EPF to ASW2020..would it be viable for me to withdraw and dump asw funds to ASB and use EPF money to reinvest in ASW2020?
*
using epf to invest in asw2020 already full...u can try as1m...i did that early of the month...it takes 3 weeks to finalise the process...

Personally, I won't withdraw from EPF (pays 6.15% in Yr 2012) and invest in ASM/ASW2020/AS1M
D difference in basis point is too small to justify indirect cost n time
Unless ASB, yes  icon_idea.gif
*
time: there is because waiting time at the asnb counter could stretch for 1 hr...
cost : there is no cost involved...my office is next to asnb office
