i believe every1 also can make it if the tank is kept in the middle room of a big house without any direct sunlight to any part of the room, eg. like the underground room, even with a single fan u will feel like an aircond room  tongue.gif

my tank is at living room

ac/dc power supply/converter , n if u fancy it, a switch to switch it on n off.. wiring is pretty much direct... even a primary schooler can do it... smile.gif
*
dont need so susah lah , just buy this type of fan , DC fan size is 120mm x120mm x35mm ball bearing type, new one , min can last u for 2-3 years

Errr.. typical Malaysian homes don't have underground rooms.
Mine is also in the living room, that's why I found it strange. How can the temperature drop to 25C just by fan. Usually, fan only reduces the temperature 1 -2 C only. Is it aquarium fan + living room fan, or just living room fan alone?
*
living room fan is about 3 meter from tank , than i add one fan on top of aquarium , which is 120mm x 120mm x35mm

yep... can use that too... but i dont like the idea of having 240v live wire on top of water surface... smile.gif

yes actually the DIY is the easy part. the hard part is how to make the stand for the fan so that it stands next to your tank and not fall inside and cause tragedy instead... imagine a full force fan going inside ur planted tank... fish plants and soil all will be upside down already...
*
i totally agree wit u bro

Came home to find out the temperature in my aquarium is 30.7, lowest seen was 28.7.. Is this a big difference?

Is it possible to set up a tank under the ceiling, but side exposed to the sun, without algae?

Added on May 9, 2012, 7:02 pm

If sifu tak tau, beginner like me impossible will tau... but Google tells it is possible, just that it is not so popular for aquariums. Maybe this link may help

http://saltaquarium.about.com/od/emergency...oweroutages.htm
http://www.everything-aquatic.com/2010/03/...e-ups-test.html

Maybe if someone get suppliers on this, a new business product will be sold whistling.gif
