usually xian leng for aquatic plants and hardware and enquire pricing (the one and only in BP tat i know), qian hu (now will convert to pet shop, which i buy nothing really just browsing due to expensive pricing) , another LFS right in front of summit parade where i get my shrimps for algae and feeding purpose, some other LFS mostly for fish browsing.

there are 2-3 more but i'm not familiar so i seldom go to these places.

kimi : 350mm = 1ft++ wats ur budget? need 1 x 11w enough? what is the light power u need?

hahaha... 75w is halogen la.. for me, if the plant is pearling and doing ok, i won't change the conditions with co2 / light / ferts etc.

read my previous post about the level of happiness in planted tank : urs should have the " its alive!" reaction part... haha

come on... give urself some credit la... no pearling doesn't mean end of the world... hehe

mine also not much pearling too... but still got growth la.. haha

Added on May 20, 2012, 1:30 pmbp dun have liao. xian leng's aquatic plant aquarium got accident 2-3 weeks back. an aquarium burst or the light ballast exploded. most plants KO or sold off. now only left some echinodorus type of plants n some more without lights... see how they survive

corporate companies are slow at responding. need to pass through this, need to pass through that. lots of red tapes. unless it affects their core operations, they won't move a finger.

these fishes seems can 'dart' around the aquarium... i mean swim very fast type...

compatible with other community fish ie tetra?

I read frm newspaper la.. Their accounts got problem (untally etc) But maybe they got cash reserve... Hehe

ok la.. 37.7c nia.. feeling giddy only haha... now ok liao.

got 3 pairs, all are adults already... each month at least 2 of the pairs will spawn. but usually i dun bother them. so next day they gulung tikar... eat their own eggs.

yeah maybe today unable to travel liao... see how lah..
