QUOTE(Malformed @ May 7 2012, 03:04 PM)
I'm reading an article on Eheim 2213 vs 2215.. I hear they say when there are too many plants, stronger filter is required?
Is this guy crazy or what?

http://www.plantedtank.net/forums/equipmen...15-20-long.html

Always provide over filtration as there is no harm in more benificial bacteria as they clean the water...

Thanks for the advise, but no where do I know how to determine which should I get.. It will be for a 2.5ft tank (100litre~) for a 100litre tank, how much should the filter be pumping per hour? I assume 1litre per hour for each litre the tank holds?
*
I'm using 2215 for 2ft tank and everything is good

just wonder any reason u put water b4 planting?
*
Remove debree and test aquarium also... gonna drain all water when rock and driftwood arrive...
It also prevent soil from drying... and when major water change it remove huge amount of ammonia seep out fr ada soil and when plant added the benificial bacteria already in my filter so less algae attack - my theory experementing on it follow at your own no guarantee hahaha
