Yes LuQEE the ceramic ring, btw u afraid it give side effect as the ring i bought is cheap 1 RM10 per pack for 1KG. Only 2 of my yamato got this problem. 1 of it already 1 year another around 2months i guess. Is sad to see them leave. Trying WC see can extend their life or not. Now i no longer saw them fighting for food anymore  sad.gif

I heard cheap bio-ring will cause major PH swing and KH swing (Both critical to shrimp) yes MAJOR waterchange (USE RO water) if posibble to neutralize the water as the pipe water may contain iron/copper (Malaysia pipe on certain area have/use copper expecially old housing area) and importantly if you have this 2 tester just check water PH and KH...

or I usually do is saparate the shrimp into a holding tank provide damn stable/clean water (RO or spritzer) for a day or 2 and provide damn alot of air (Usually I set my air pump to max) then if lucky they will recover

How do you justify the brightness ya? I thought the light is only used to affect the temperature of the water.. How should I determine which LED should I guess icon_question.gif

yweising, 100 is still tolerable I guess hmm.gif
*
The calculation per watt but LED is different calculation...

For LED in planted tank you need CREE type the one I have is a SMD type the lighting is not very strong...

weijie will need to move house 1st before DIY start... if you want to DIY your LED cantact us we can quote for you the best you have spoiled T5 or T8 case we use back to MOD

lol.
so the blue also play main role in led lightning.
bit understand now..
i just want to make lesser heat to water temp actually.
thts why wnt to try led.  biggrin.gif
*
High powered LED make alot of heat thats why need huge heatsink and fan when DIY else the LED will die in 1 day
