QUOTE(DecemberRose @ Apr 29 2012, 01:39 PM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Yes LuQEE the ceramic ring, btw u afraid it give side effect as the ring i bought is cheap 1 RM10 per pack for 1KG. Only 2 of my yamato got this problem. 1 of it already 1 year another around 2months i guess. Is sad to see them leave. Trying WC see can extend their life or not. Now i no longer saw them fighting for food anymore or I usually do is saparate the shrimp into a holding tank provide damn stable/clean water (RO or spritzer) for a day or 2 and provide damn alot of air (Usually I set my air pump to max) then if lucky they will recover |

QUOTE(Malformed @ May 4 2012, 09:50 AM) How do you justify the brightness ya? I thought the light is only used to affect the temperature of the water.. How should I determine which LED should I guess The calculation per watt but LED is different calculation... yweising, 100 is still tolerable I guess For LED in planted tank you need CREE type the one I have is a SMD type the lighting is not very strong... |

QUOTE(furydeathcore @ May 4 2012, 12:08 PM) lol. High powered LED make alot of heat thats why need huge heatsink and fan when DIY else the LED will die in 1 dayso the blue also play main role in led lightning. bit understand now.. i just want to make lesser heat to water temp actually. thts why wnt to try led. |
