I heard cheap bio-ring will cause major PH swing and KH swing (Both critical to shrimp) yes MAJOR waterchange (USE RO water) if posibble to neutralize the water as the pipe water may contain iron/copper (Malaysia pipe on certain area have/use copper expecially old housing area) and importantly if you have this 2 tester just check water PH and KH...

or I usually do is saparate the shrimp into a holding tank provide damn stable/clean water (RO or spritzer) for a day or 2 and provide damn alot of air (Usually I set my air pump to max) then if lucky they will recover

no idea heard from fish shop owner.. it is how the ceramic ring is made some will cause PH swing

Planted tank usually use plant friendly fish leh...

Palanaria worm deadly to shrimp they sting the shrimp and eat it muahahaha fish too

Some fish eat those wotm try guppy when they hungry they will eat those worm... do water change and dont over feed your fish hungry fish will eat worm from aquarium hehe life cycle maa small worm wont hurt but when the worm get big they will sting so guppy is biological control hehehe do water change bad water grow worm

Hailea chiller is like that when the kick in start the temp will go up by 1*c

good quality ones (LED) for planted tank to make sure plant grow cost above RM300!!!

DIY can go around RM150-250

The calculation per watt but LED is different calculation...

For LED in planted tank you need CREE type the one I have is a SMD type the lighting is not very strong...

Use T5 now laaa it is the cheapest light at the moment...

LED you need to DIY (Cree in that case)

I have a 3ft case now been prepared to MOD into LED... hahaha...

You need white mix with blue to get 12000k temp or else you wont get plant to grow but tons of algae hahaha

High powered LED make alot of heat thats why need huge heatsink and fan when DIY else the LED will die in 1 day
