Cut cost LOL! People all thought ceramic sound cool ma Actually the benefits of ceramics coating is they can use lighter material like aluminium which also good in dissipated the heat. But aluminium is not so strong compare to steel bore that why they put a stronger layer of ceramic coating on the aluminium surface. If put ceramic on normal steel bore than you will loose some of this benefits compare to Aluminium bore.

Aluminium Benefits:
1.Fast heat dissipation.
2.Lightweight.

Ceramic Benefits:
1.Excellent Lubricity
2.Low Attrition Rate
3.High Boiling Point

Actually got people told me can honing the ceramic block but i very don't understand. Because after they honing the block sure they will honing away some of the ceramics.. Sakit hati

need to understand first why need to hone, is bcoz block oredi damage. Some area ceramic oredi gone and got scratches. so, in this case most probably dun care siramik still got tinggal or not, betul tak?

single silinder buat honing x baloi, coz new one is cheap, especially 4T bike no porting one... 2T or multi-silinder baru buat.

If I wanna play 4T with u guys, alum block w steel liner, no premium coating those shit. If damage, polish RM6, if worse, rebore RM12. 1 block can rebore 3-5 times. A 57mm block at the end of life can become 62mm.

thianz: not sakit hati or not sakit hati if want polish. Honing = polish is not for fun.. If block no spoil or not changing to new pistons there no reasons to polish it I just want to know more about polishing cylinder block for in case in future my pistons wear out and need to change to new pistons.

no calar .. buat per nak hantar polish  .....  as long as u no high rem , rod goyang  .... or EO salah pakai ... very hard to calar ..... so far my 62mm  13k+ km liao

HAHA you don't get what i mean. I mean in future in case piston ring makan or piston not nice d. And want to change other pistons. Some aftermarket pistons won't perfectly fit into the block. There might need to polish the cylinder block abit. That why i ask alexei can we honing ceramic block. I not mean block calar.

recently i just change to fz block, piston,cam,valve spring,clutch spring,sprocket setting back to original,taste got abit different. nice acc.. got power, but duno top speed yet..still run in for 1k.
