Wow, after I disappeared for 2 weeks, then this forum became very lively... shocking.gif

Just to share with you reprappers some videos of my prints at YouTube.

I am in the middle of editing a video of a 3D printed robot I have made for a recent competition and I will try to upload it this weekend.

Also forgot to mention  tongue.gif , I will be able to print in Ninjaflex and Flexi filament this early December. Now I am in the process of testing it out on my modded extruder and hotend. The results looks good for now...

Hi Altan, Ninjaflex stuff sounds fun. Waiting for mine to arrive next week.
Show us your extruder design for Ninjaflex. I know the material is soft so the filament has to be guided down
the tube all the way else it may end up like this :

Sure, my travel speed is at 100 mm/s and the others are at 60 mm/s. First layer have to go slow at 50% of the print speed.  nod.gif

You seem to be running really fast for the Prusa, did you come across overshot corners and some bubbled surfaces at these speeds?

Nothing related here, just something for the weekend.

WOW! Very impressive. Haven't tried my Flex filaments yet.
Hope they are as good as yours.

It could be the temperature sensor giving some false reading bro. I have experienced this before but the problem disappeared after two times printing. I will send you a new temperature sensor together with PTFE lining for standby.

Btw, this is Blomker Industries custom made screw in temperature sensor. Ordered about 500pcs of this from the factory.
It is 100K +/- 1% thermistor inserted in a brass screw (M3 thread) and sealed with high temperature epoxy.
The wires are Teflon insulated to withstand the high temperature.

If anyone need a piece, will be happy to provide it free of charge. Just contact us.

Those guys at iMakerZone.com tested our FlashForge Dreamer with some exotic material :

ColorFabb BronzeFill - 80% Bronze + 20% PLA
Taulmann Bridge - Strength similar to Nylon. Slightly flexible
FilaFlex - Similar to NinjaFlex. Rubbery flexible material
PolyMax - High strength PLA. 8 times stronger than normal PLA

BronzeFill is great because you can actually print metal now! It becomes really smooth and shiny with some sanding and polishing.
Suitable for jewellery and model making.

Other material such as the Taulmann Bridge may find suitable applications in medical field.

Thanks to the iMakerZone guys for showing us how to take 3D Printing one step further.
