Weird. I called in to redeem TP for GST. 10k right ?

Checked M2u and only 4-7k TP (I'm not going to put exact figure for now) deducted few days ago, and still remain at that after several days
Either I'm lucky or MBB screw up again like my TP for GST redemption last year

It seems like most (if not all) the people I see on the street / shopping mall / payment counters are using the plat (black) MBB-2-CC. Sometimes very rare, will see someone with the gold colour one.
There is no status for plat card nowadays.

Even at recent MBB treatfair at Mid Valley, the premier golf (whatever) lounge is also full and the lowest requirement is not even plat. It needs Infinite / Centurion Amex Plat (different level) or higher.

Platinum are like degree holders now. 6 out of 10 may flash a plat card at you.

The correct terminology to use is not waived. You redeem TP to pay the service tax (GST).
This is to help other readers, not to confuse between waive and redeem or refund.

Correct terminology & sequence :
1) Collect 10k TP (fastest is use the Amex 5x TP)
2) Wait until the RM50 GST is charged in your online/snail-mail bill statement.
3) Call up MBB CS.
4) Request to redeem TP to offset the GST.
5) Wait 3-5 working days and check online (if available).

Depends on you, my last month call, looks like they deduct 5-7k TP (not going to give exact) only to offset my RM50 GST on my MBB-2-CC.
Either MBB screw up again, or they give me discount.

Nope. I total up all the cards. My GST only deduct 5-7k TP, not 10k TP.

There is no secret formula. Just call.
My issue is, I don't know if they deduct wrong (less, which is good for me) or they purposely give me some discount, i.e. half-GST only. I did not request for it at all. I'm fine also if they deduct 10k TP, as per what I request over the phone call to CS.

Therefore, I'll let the bank audit themselves internally or externally.
