stock is 388 as at this moment, wouldn't last for another day I guess. For those who just bought it, is the shipping still free? thinking of buying another one smile.gif
*
Even if it's out of stock you can still take advantage of the limited time free shipping by ordering and paying it during the free period.

Really interested on weather balloon project, I'm into APRS (ham radio) and I've one of my transmitter up on hot air balloon before but this weather balloon with transmitter, it can snap photos up above and send them in realtime using SSTV .. there are many weather balloon project out there that used APRS & SSTV..
*
Where would you get a weather balloon here and what are the regulations regarding the private use of a weather balloon?

QUOTE(satz @ Dec 1 2012, 01:54 PM)
sensors are powered by 24V psu.. and by using phototransistor optocoupler, hooked up to
pi gnd, 3.3v n GPIO pin.. pure pi.. nor arduino involved.
*
What are you using the Pi/sensor for?
Factory automation?

They tried to delivered mine on Saturday, was not expecting it, so nobody was at home. So, was waiting for whole day today and up to this second, GDex hasn't show up infront of my gate. The status said going out for delivery.
*
On failed deliveries they would leave a notice in your letterbox.

Usually, the solution is simply to cut the V+ wire in the Type-A plug leading to the RPi.
*
Or crack open the hub and cut the V+ trace on the PCB.
Be mindful which one you cut though. sweat.gif

And I prefer not to ship stuff from overseas as the local (MY) customs is sh*t. One minute decide to tax but one minute decide not to tax. doh.gif
*
What got taxed? smile.gif

Finally got my HDMI>DVI cable (one month two day wait) and Kingston 8GB C10 micro SD and got Raspbmc installed.

What's the normal CPU load for Raspbmc?
I'm getting high 90s while not playing anything.
A 2GB 720P MKV video plays smooth but image tears (I think that's the term) for a few seconds when fast forward or rewind.
Is that normal?

Board for Samsung ARM

Hardly a competitor for the Pi.
Apart from it's cost it doesn't have a composite output thus denying it's use as an educational tool in poorer countries who can't afford an LCD TV (which is the reason the Pi has one)
