I just got mine today from element14.. they rejected my first purchase as I didn't put the company name..
for my 2nd purchase, I just put my company name and everything goes smoothly..

just tested using openelec on my device and connect to my 29" toshiba lcd tv..
problem is, resolution is way out.. anyone know what is the correct resolution to set?

Still figuring out how to use this.. any good OS to use for it?
I prefer to surf net, watch online tv, etc..

Ordered on 4/4/13, remark : forgot to do payment.
They called on 8/4/13, asking for details and i requested them to send details how to do payment.
Payment done on 9/4/13, and was sent out 9/4/13.
Package arrived today 10/4/13. That is fast.

Bought mine from thundermatch BTS for rm160 (rev B with case, w/out SD card).

Anyone who ordered through element14, did any of the sales representative call you to confirm if this is for personal/business use; like RS?

In their website they advertised it as RM199, but RM160 still expensive for me though.

yup u can.. provided its more than 450mAh wen using only 1 low powered usb device.

or as recommended 750mAH for 2 usb devices.

Use the normal smartphone charger which is rated 5V 1A. Depending on model, A uses less power. while B starts from 750mA to 1.5A iinm. Those ipad/galaxy charger are rated 2A though i think it should be able to support.

I'm using my old samsung galaxy 5 charger.. IINS, it's only 0.5A.
Any idea what will happened if we use unsuitable power supply?

should be ok i think. 0.5A is standard power provided by PC USB port as well.

if it is 5V, shouldnt be a problem, for 500mAh, starting up
shouldnt be problem with HDMI, but usb device might disconnect.

i powered with 450mAh, with wireless adapter. no problem, running for 1 week direct.
Then i discovered that it auto disconnect the adapter for no reason.

Fixed it anyways. so yeah.. try it first.
