All diecast or resin car that buy from oversea and ship into malaysia must apply the permit before bringing in. The permit form can download from kastam official website. If I'm not wrong, I was told by one GST speaker from Gov last year, this is one of the GST policies. Which means, majority of goods (except letter and exempted items) send in from overseas are subject for GST (according to a fix rate table). Never expect gov implement it that soon. This indicates the GST implementation is not far from effective. Let's see how one of my Parcel from Germany ends up tomorrow (expecting to arrive by noon).
