RON 95 means 95% petrol add 5% water, RON 97 means 97% petrol add 3 % water

My 2nd input on LCP on a stock car (no other mod, no drop in filter, no iridium spark)...

My earlier comment on the harsher engine noise....its somewhat reduced now, still slightly higher than usual but not that obvious anymore. Probably becoz I've readjusted my foot's pedal acceleration to fit the LCP new increase torque curve. I think I might also get used to the slightly higher sound liao coz it's not so obvious anumore.

Have learned to tekan less when accelerating to comform with new acceleration torque and it works well. It changes gear especially from 1st to 2nd and 3rd, very fast. Can still feel gear change jerk slightly but due to my right feet changes, its much less obvious.

No more hold back feeling of car when accelerating after passing smart tag toll gates. Just zoom much faster than usual. Trying to control feet to slow down a bit to save FC rather than overaccelerate like what I did yesterday causing more noise, harder gear change jerk, etc.

I could close gap much faster during traffic start/stop jam in the morning. On a single lane road, previously when I try to overtake a vehicle from slow speed, it takes a couple of seconds for my H-line auto to pickup speed, by then I have to swerve back in liao coz opposite car coming. Now it just accelerate and switch to gear 2 fast and I'm off to the front of a slow bus. This happens at slow speed drive where H-Line auto acceleration is weakness is very obvious before LCP.

Overall, my doubts on the pro vs cons (better torque curve vs noise/gear jerk) leaned way ahead towards the pro as noise and jerk is greatly reduced with new acceleration control by my right foot. Of course, being a cautious guy, I still have doubt a bit on vibration after effect on long term. But what the heck....

Now seriously looking at stiff ring to try to solve my possible undercarriage issue (when up or down parking ramp, the steering rack somewhat crank crank crank). Tot is might be steering shaft but last time, supposedly tighten undercarriage by Cose, it dissappear for a very short while. So suspect it might just be undercarriage problem as well...

i also plan to add stiff ring, but i think need to sit inside some1 car with stiff ring and see them pot hole to feel the difference first

Based on many comments, stiff ring is more useful towards older cars where it have more obvious improvement, I guess our ride QC is still way not up to par if I need it for a 9 months old car. But then again, this car I have lots of sound the moment I get it. For my city, obvious cling clang noise only appear after 4 years...

Its just a joke by him lar.....although I have to say the year 95 and year 97 might not be a joke coz.........jeng jeng jeng jeng....I use to think so too ages ago...on RON 92 and 95 when I know nuts abt car (then its a 4 wheel transport)...

Just opened up my back seat, removed the worn insulating tape from the metal hook, put in new ones....the quek quek sound from the back disappear liao...again.

Now wondering should I put stiff ring BEFORE my 15K service next week or after.....if stiff ring DO stop the cling clang problem, then no need CoSe tighten undercarriage anymore although it might not be the undercarriage problem in the first place...
