At above RM2000 it is placing it in flagship territory and I think it's gonna get beaten really bad by the SGSIII and iPhone4S. Yea the camera is way ahead of the competition but I don't think it actually leads in any other way. Competition will be tough unless you are talking about someone who places great importance on image quality.
Most people interested in photography will have a proper camera so it doesn't really have a market that way too. Only way is to sell cheap and market it's huge camera.
But most people no longer have faith in Symbian. So...fail phone?
How can it fail just because its symbian? The issue now even u have a quad core phone powered by android or iOS but none of it can even come lose to the quality of the Nokia 808 pureview? Can u define how it fail? Most people interested in photography will have a proper camera so it doesn't really have a market that way too. Only way is to sell cheap and market it's huge camera.

Can u define your definition of proper camera? Means DSLR? That u are wrong a mobile phone goes everywhere close to where u can imagine it can go. Just imagine u budget RM2000 and u wanna get a good camera and you dont like to carry alot of stuff around.
U have phone , you have email , u have 3G, u have FM transmitter and also the most awesome camera in hand. Someone only will define what u just said because they dunno what they want. If me ill get the 808 pureview because i know what is capable off.
Its like you compare the camera there no mobile phone or compact camera can even come close to it. Different people have their different needs. Not everyone buy phone for processor. This phone certainly have market for it
There no phone in the market have it? its one of a kind!
