For your case, test it out with another modem to see whether there is a signal or not. Chances are that its the jumpers problem. Go to their office personally and fire them. It happened to my gf's case but luckily I know the supervisor in my area, so she checked and found out that the technician did not jump the signal even though its written in the records that its set.

Whatever it is, DO NOT ACTIVATE YOUR LINE if your line do not have a signal. And you can do self-installation yourself, just need to move those tmnut staff butt around. Try to go to your local branch and insist on talking to the manager...

i never heard of auto-activation before. well probably u can go complain to tmnet or maybe MDMC that u DID NOT give ur consent to activate your line. ive been doing self-installations for people around this area and i have yet to hear this kind of encounter. whatever it is i guess u better demand to see the manager or supervisor everyday cuz ur losing money each day if they dont jump the signal to u.

and the next time u guys call 1300..ask for the staff name...its better to have someone to point to for wrong information...

and for people who wants to check their application status, just go to http://www.tm.net.my/html/on_services.cfm under streamyx -> status application.

and u can also ask on who activated ur streamyx for u. cuz in order for activation they need ur

1. Name
2. IC no.
3. Username
4. Password
5. Phone line number

thats from my experience as a reseller, no activation is done without consent of the owners and an application is considered as void if no activation is done within 7 days of the jumpering.

i guess some ppl just wanna go find money the "responsible" way
