QUOTE(Gen-X @ Mar 6 2012, 09:32 AM) Wow! This OCBC movie promo is fantastic, applicable on any day and for any class. Citibank only on Saturdays at TGV. Only set back is OCBC promo only offer 1 FREE ticket irregardless of how ticket you buy whereas Citibank up to 2 tickets. I kind of missed this earlier, hot discussion at OCBC thread, so thanks for posting it here. Interesting to note that CIMB VS has removed its complimentary GSC ticket as one of its signature rewards.

QUOTE(ben83 @ Mar 6 2012, 02:04 PM) It is me who called CIMB CS head (& indirectly to their marketing team) early January and reminded them to remove the misleading term "10 Signature Rewards" but only listed 9 type of rewards (instead of 10, since the complimentary GSC ticket reward is taken out) What was the reply? Still written 10 signature rewards on its website

Click below link to read if you agree with my list. Malaysia Best Top 10 Credit Cards 2012 - Ultimate ShowdownGood rating overall but you need to give 3 stars to OCBC Ti for cashback! QUOTE(TearsRainzz @ Mar 12 2012, 11:32 AM) I dont know is it correct to ask here, but how does the cash rebate of CC works? Okay, let say i pump Rm100 petrol, rebate of my CC is 5%. So it means i only pay RM95 or i pay RM100 but i can get RM5 cash back? And if so, how do i get the RM5? in cash or transfer to my account? Thank you rebate meaning you will still have to pay RM100, and RM5 or 5% will be 'rebated' to your account later at the end of the month or statement date depending on the tyoe of card.

QUOTE(yvonnesoo @ Mar 19 2012, 10:58 PM) would like to ask whether can we cancel the cc if there still outstanding balance on the card? need to settle full amt or repay the bank monthly? since BN implement those below 36k to haf only max 2 cards and those that haf over 2 cards haf to cancel the card and given max of 2 yrs of grace period to repay the bank?? i wonder is tis really implement on every bank? if yes, so the monthly repayment will be charge by interest or interest free? i doubt those bank will give interest free repayment lor.. Yes, you can cancel the card. According to the statement by BNM, card issuers will engage with the affected cardholders to assist them in restructuring their repayments to facilitate the smooth implementation of this measure. In addition, cardholders can also seek the assistance of Agensi Kaunseling dan Pengurusan Kredit (AKPK) for advice on their debt management. So to clear your doubt, it is better for you refer to bank itself on this matter. Free interest repayment? Can go on dreaming LoL.

I come across this feature for Hong Leong Plat Business card. QUOTE Interest Free Credit Period Up to 60 days. Stretch your finances further with a longer credit period of up to 60 days absolutely interest free for all retail transactions. Meaning due date is 60 days from statement date right.

For CIMB, there will be in lien charges of RM5 per RM1000 Credit Limit pledged. But maybe they treat their Preferred customers differently.

QUOTE(rockasd @ Apr 12 2012, 10:50 PM) i have apply credit card CMB, after few weeks no news from them. so i decided to apply CC at another bank. I would like to ask: 1) if cimb suddendly approve my application and i would like to cancel it due to late response. Do they charge me for anything or do i require to paid anything? you will have to pay the RM50 GST. if you dont want the CIMB card, just cancel the application before it is being approved. Wanted to do it at Melaka but Hye pointed out, they dont accept CC. Went to check out their online system as suggested by alexwsk, they do accept visa/mc but dont want to take risk as the payment will be forfeited if there is an error or problem Cash all the way I guess. Thanks guys

QUOTE(Gen-X @ Apr 24 2012, 11:22 AM) This coming Friday is Parkson Member's Day at Subang Parade. Converted my reward points to cash vouchers last weekend for my wife to use it this coming Friday. Click below link to read my latest blah blah blah article titled Free Money from Maybankard and BonusLink for My Wife's SK-IIConversion to parkson voucher is worth it! I was told that when you make payment using vouchers during bonuslink day, you will not receive the 5x or 10x bonuslink points. It doesn't make any sense, so you might wanna ask the cashier about this.
