i don't think it rides like an actual carbon bike from all aspects of riding... but it definitely beats the entry level carbon and maybe even rival the mid-level ones in terms of stiffness...
canondale was crazy enough to put in the BB30 standard bottom bracket they started into an alloy frame which i believe no manufacturer has done before... this alone should have increased the front to rear torsional stiffness of the frame to match some of the rival carbon frames...
as for lightness... it would most probably kill those carbon frames with poor manufacturing as well...
comfort.. hard to say as aluminum is always known to be harsh on the ride quality...
but all in all.. if looking at race ready performance... i think it's possible that it matches carbon frames.. but you have to first get over the point that it is "not a cheap aluminum bike" in the first place... and most probably going to costs more than an entry level carbon...
i read that a lot of US amateur crit guys run this frame... those bastards are very explosive riders.. so, a CAAD10 can handle their demands says a lot about it's stiffness...
haha... 7.9KG wor... how to not look up... even mine also tak de so light... envious...
dun set your hopes so high la...Zipp and top tier group might not be enough to drop 1.1KG in weight... unless you aiming for 202s paired with Red 2012 and carbonize all your cockpit
where can i get poison of titanium frames in Malaysia? the big brands of Ti frames are litespeed? canondale was crazy enough to put in the BB30 standard bottom bracket they started into an alloy frame which i believe no manufacturer has done before... this alone should have increased the front to rear torsional stiffness of the frame to match some of the rival carbon frames...
