I do hope it'll drop till 1.5k i mean for XPS but seems like U won't drop at all i might even increase in price. It's like the best buy below 1k and it's dual-core. Only the battery is a turn-off.

They did pretty well in controlling the price ... if you want cheaper get the P or U if you're rich get the S kinda marketing.

This mean everyone can have an good looking Android mobile.

Xperia P has aluminium body, seems sleeker than Xperia S. And overall form factor is optimized.
By the way, the battery capacity is lower than my current Xperia Neo, yet, Xperia P running time is longer than Xperia Neo. I think battery usage is optimized by software too.
