QUOTE(notoriousfiq @ Feb 28 2012, 11:16 PM) That is a big difference.. so less tax, Malaysia should be cheaper right? does that mean <1k for U?? ffuuu.. P maybe around 1.7k? Macam alang2 get S.. Maybe U is made to replace Xperia Ray?(which is a cheap phone) BTW pricing is in Euro not GBP so no tax? After converting the prices from: http://www.xperiablog.net/2012/02/27/xperi...icing-revealed/ U around RM10XX P around RM18XX S around RM20XX So ideally the RRP might be: U RM999/1099 P RM1799/1899 S RM1999/2099 For us in Malaysia we can only speculate the prices This post has been edited by Eugene91: Feb 28 2012, 11:51 PM |

Such big difference between U & P, and not so much on P & S. Makes me re-think stuff.

They should really drop the price of P to be truly successful.
Btw why not merge S,P and U thread together? 0.o |

QUOTE(Eugene91 @ Feb 28 2012, 11:47 PM) Maybe U is made to replace Xperia Ray?(which is a cheap phone) Xperia U is still a dual core phone right? A dual core phone @rm999/1099? Thats actually very good. But the price is hard to believe considering there is such big difference from U to P but only a miserable rm200 from P to S. Those who were initially aiming for P might as well just top up the rm200 to get the S?BTW pricing is in Euro not GBP so no tax? I guess i read somewhere that the proc used in S (MSM 8620) is slower than P (STE U8500). Infact it is just slighty slower than Exynos soc used in S2 (well until they decided to change it to snapdragon).
Anyway U8500 > MSM 8260 Anyone have anymore info on the processor? |
