Planning to put gloss black vinyl on my car hood, but got advise from the sticker guy not to do so... apparently it is easily scratched, he advise matte better.

But does vinyl wrap really spoil the ori paint? How true is this?

Also, then I thought of painting the hood to black paint after I saw this:

But dunno how reliable is this... like quite a cheap paint, dont know can last long or not. Any suggestions from the pros?
