Kinda true actually, but then again I had a Tissot PRS200 and using it for 11 years, still functioning and bad part is I change the crown twice and not going to change again.
Anyway tissot owners here who had one recently like 2-3 years ago had crown problems? I'm actually looking back at one to replace the PRS200, and alot of them are stunning now comparing a decade ago. Falling in love with the Tissot Courturier. QUOTE(gapnap @ Feb 26 2012, 01:55 PM) I know alot of people , who buys a SEIKO and use it for the next 10 years . Tissot is different , you don't buy a Tissot and use it for the next 10 years . Its the "enter the game" kinda watch . After a few months of owning Tissot , you will start to look at Omega , Tags & Ball . Then you move on to Rolex , PAM .. Then you move on to VC , AP , PP . So yeah , Tissot is the "first poison" kinda watch |

Hi all Tissot owners, got a quick question as I'm looking for an automatic Tissot such as PRS516 as a replacement to my 12 year old PRS200 tissot, just checking if the mechanism works the same as those like Tag Heuer Carrera Automatic, sorry understand that it is not an apple to apple comparison.
My question is years ago I bought a Tissot Automatic for my wife Christmas birthday and only then I found out that you can't adjust the date individually but you have to turn the dial to complete 24 cycle to get a day pass, supposingly if you don't wear it for a couple of days and it ran out of energy and then you got to re-adjust the date by turning many many many times till it hits 12 each time for a date to go by. It can be frustrating if you miss a date and you need to turn many times till it hits back to the date that you want, unlike most automatic you can adjust the date individually itself. Will this PRS516 be the same? any owners can enlighten? Thanks. QUOTE(acap89 @ Jan 4 2013, 12:33 PM) |

QUOTE(LightningZERO @ Sep 30 2013, 12:45 PM) Nice watch. What's the model? yest it is a b**** actually, once you start to collect watches or if you have the thinking of getting second and then third, you get sucked into it.I'm poisoned by watches now. Just bought my first Tissot few months ago and now itching for second one lol The rule of thumb is to get watch that you see and you fall in love with it, not seeing people wear and you follow as watches are more of individual and the goes with your character. Good luck! |

QUOTE(LightningZERO @ Oct 1 2013, 12:11 PM) No kidding, I even used to think that use so much money to buy a watch is such a waste Luckily I still manage to control myself from buying those watches way out of my capability but of course those watches are like rm2000 below, not those of rolex and such. |
