I'm torn between;

T035.627.16.051.00
T014.427.16.051.00

The differences between these two are the strap, body size... and the price (+-100) icon_question.gif

The Couturier is a newer model.

The PRC 200 has a more polite touch from the dials arrangement.

It's indeed a very tough decision to make between these two as I also face the similar dilemma as you!
*
Yeah. I don't really know how to explain but PRC 200's body stands out (more visible) while Couturier's body curves smoothly with the strap as though it is wrapping the wrist nicely (which explains the broader strap).

Perhaps the leather strap makes difference for you.

I'm opting and considering for stainless steel strap. I pay mode attention on the main dial and chronograph dials arrangement.
*
Oh yes... I'm hunting for a leather strap watch and these two caught my attention. The question now; which? laugh.gif

Have you purchased yours? I was given 10% discount although I read somewhere that some were given 15%. hmm.gif

I'm holding my purchase as I'm opting for other series like the PRS 516.

So far, I could get 15% off from displayed price tag from several shops at Penang that I have asked last month.

Maybe the displayed price in Penang is higher than those in Klang Valley.
*
T035.627.16.051.00 - RM2750
T014.427.16.051.00 - RM2650

Both are leather straps. I think they should be fixed price (in terms of RRP).

*
Yea. He's selling cheaper. But I can't stomach the fact that it's gonna shipped via Poslaju. sweat.gif

Yeah. I have no issues with them either. Just that when it comes to something as pricey as this... sweat.gif

But then again, Davis's price is indeed cheaper... and tempting.

@goliath, so what is your decision? Bought?
*
Haven't. But I'm most likely to get the PRC 200. The integrated leather strap of Couturier is not my thing... yet. laugh.gif

Integrated leather strap? What does it mean? Sorry for the dumb question.
*
No worries... I'm not good at describing this. If you look Couturier's from an angle, the leather strap looks like it is 'connected' to the main body while there's some empty space between the leather strap and PRC200.

I see. I got what you mean.

Since I'm aiming for stainless steel strap, I guess your consideration may not affect my decision. laugh.gif
*
Haha. When are you getting yours?

I'm not sure whether to get from Davis or from shop. hmm.gif

Last time all your items bought from me also sent out by PosLaju. So far the most expensive item I sent before is Maurice Lacroix watch at five figures.
LV, Rolex and many branded shops also acquire PosLaju service.
*
Hey.. great to hear from you... and good to hear that. I'm just being paranoid here when comes to pricier stuff.

Will definitely consider your service. smile.gif

The shop is very friendly. They'll serve you well and even take out the watches for you to feel and try them.

Are you still deciding, David83?

The one in KLCC is giving 12%. Haven't came across 15% yet.

thanks for the suggestion, but I have already bought PRS 516 white, hehe.

I did compare between PRS 516, PRC 200 and PRC 330, but turn out i like the PRS 516 more even thought it is the cheapest one.

i bought this one

QUOTE(winkytoe @ Aug 28 2013, 06:13 PM)
hey guys. i just had a weird experience with tissot midvalley branch. Brought my dad's watch there to change strap, then he said he'll take about 1-2 months to change. So i gave them the watch and they gave me the receipt stating strap broken and watch stopped. Since the watch hasn't been used in a long time, the watch wasn't working but we assume no battery only.

Then about 2 weeks ago i got a call from them, they say the total cost would be RM800 (rm600-engine, 200-strap) to change strap and repair the engine(or something like that). So obviously i said no and told them only to change the strap and not touch the engine because it was way too expensive and i wanna try repair at normal shop.

So just now i went to collect the watch. Strap changed but the watch still not moving, so i brought it to another watch shop in midvalley near jusco. Then i ask them to check see what happen. To my surprise IT WAS JUST A FLAT BATTERY. I was so damn shocked and surprised even though they charge me 50 bucks to replace the battery. Did the Midvalley boutique try to con me off 600 bucks or what?

I guess it is best to bring this matter to the HQ.

Lads, my Tissot automatic watch is getting harder to wind lately. This morning when the power reserve is drained, I only able to wind for about two to three times (less than 5 times) before it starts to slip.

Any thoughts?

Most likely, your winding gear pinion on the crown stem is worn out or have broken teeth. I recommend that you stop using the watch till it gets fixed. Bits of metal might get into the wheel train and damage other components that will cause more expensive repairs.

Thanks for the info. I've already sent it in for repair last week.
