Define decent.  wink.gif

#1 Tissot PRC 200 series Automatic Chronograph
#2 Tissot Seastar 1000 Automatic Chronograph

Both using the same movement ETA calibre C01.211 with 6 hours chronograph function.

Thanks. Let me have a look on them. By the way, any idea of the price tag for both recommendations?

I went to see Tissot Seastar 1000 Automatic Chronograph today. It's too big for my wrist - 48mm diameter and thick of 17.28mm. It also relatively heavy at 232g. The shop retail price tag is RM 3700. Guess it may not suit me.

Try to look for:
Tissot T-Sport PRC 200 (AUTOMATIC CHRONOGRAPH C01.211) #T014.427.16.031.00
IMO, it's the best looking Tissot watch that you have to personally appreciate.

There are Tissot T-Race Chronograph models to consider too.
For example:
Tissot T-RACE (AUTOMATIC CHRONOGRAPH C01.211) #T048.427.27.057.00
*
I also did survey for PRC 200 series. I'm more attracted to T014.427.11.051.00 instead. biggrin.gif

I prefer stainless steel strap/bracelet.

Buying a watch is almost equivalent to fall in love at first sight. Before asking Catnip, I was attracted to either:

#1 Tissot PRC 200 series Automatic Chronograph
#2 Tissot Seastar 1000 Automatic Chronograph

Cheapest in Malaysia will be a 15% off from the displayed price tag. You may get higher discount if you opt for cash payment and/or no receipt.

The price tag for that watches are RM1800+- and RM1600+-.

He mentioned that this is not year end sale thus no further discount can be given. Max only 10 percent.

You're looking for plain automatic or chronograph automatic?

I'm torn between;

T035.627.16.051.00
T014.427.16.051.00

The differences between these two are the strap, body size... and the price (+-100) icon_question.gif
*
The Couturier is a newer model.

The PRC 200 has a more polite touch from the dials arrangement.

It's indeed a very tough decision to make between these two as I also face the similar dilemma as you!

Yeah. I don't really know how to explain but PRC 200's body stands out (more visible) while Couturier's body curves smoothly with the strap as though it is wrapping the wrist nicely (which explains the broader strap).
*
Perhaps the leather strap makes difference for you.

I'm opting and considering for stainless steel strap. I pay mode attention on the main dial and chronograph dials arrangement.

Oh yes... I'm hunting for a leather strap watch and these two caught my attention. The question now; which? laugh.gif

Have you purchased yours? I was given 10% discount although I read somewhere that some were given 15%. hmm.gif
*
I'm holding my purchase as I'm opting for other series like the PRS 516.

So far, I could get 15% off from displayed price tag from several shops at Penang that I have asked last month.

Maybe the displayed price in Penang is higher than those in Klang Valley.
