so the G2 do has backlit? or only the G2Pro (partially backlit)? o_O

Does the 9008G2 series already available in Malaysia? What about the wrist rest?

Sorry for asking a lot of question lol @@

9008S (aka, Shine/Shining) has full backlit - RM400+ free wrist rest

9008G2 has no backlit - RM350+- (promo still going on? need ask storm88) no free wrist rest

9008G2pro (latest model to replace 9008G2) partial backlit- RM350+- (estimated) no free wrist rest

btw, there's no definite answer to which is the best switch for what... it really depends on your using style...

Why avoid red switches? I personally think that Red switches are best for gaming, compared to Black and Brown. These are all self preference. There is no saying that which particular switch is best suited for any purpose. They say that Blue switches are best for typing, people still use it to play games no? doh.gif

ya, why not red? I m using red, for me it felt great gaming or typing.....

Blue in the other hand, IMO its not so suitable for double typing intense games,
if game require you to double type e.g. aa or 11 and such, since the reposition of the blue switch is higher than the actuation point,
thus you need to release the key to a higher position to deactivation the key, then press it again.

Brown is preferred by some due to its non linear tactile touches, but I felt its some how half hearted, not clicky nor linear touch..... Not my type.

BTW did any one uses HHKB Pro 2 for gaming before? why doesn't seen a lot ppl uses it for gaming?

I have a HHKB and Poker, I use them occasionally for gaming.

Browns are all rounders. But after you use it for a while, you get bored with it. That's why I have keyboards with all the (main type of) switches, expect Browns.

Your are using HHKB pro2 or lite? or pro? .... and how does it feel? what game you normally play?

I know HHKB lite is membrane keyboard,
but what is different of Pro, Pro 2, and HHKB normal? is there another non-lite non-pro HHKB version?

I am using HHKB Pro 2.
It feels like a topre tongue.gif . I just play FPS, so none of those combos or stuff going around. If i were to describe how it feels, it feels like a nice keyboard to game with. I do not know how to explain that further.

Otherwise you can look for people with HHKBs/Topres and try game on it.

Lite are rubber domes. Don't get those.

Using Leopold FC 500 Blue Switch on FPS/RTS games here

doesn't really make that difference from Rubber Dome lololol

but for typing, they are quite good (for sounds and key depressing)

Your hhkb pro2 is what color and what keycaps?
do you have any spare keycaps for it, I don't mind 2nd hand...
I got myself a HHKB Pro2 too, but its still in Japan and coming over after 2nd week of May.

My are black blank on black keyboard, if you have a white with printed, are you interested to swap? I mean keycaps....
but if you are interested to swap the whole thing we can nego too. sweat.gif
