Ok guys, just want to share with you the process of flashing Rocket Rom v1.5 ICS on our beloved Note. All these is based on my reading and due diligence and also the help of uncle Benny, many thanks! There is one difference for the steps from Benny, I did not use Abyss as the rocket team does not recommend it, as you may lose root I think...
My configuration prior to flashing :
Stock LA4 ROM, CF rooted + CWM
You need the below files :
1. CF ICS chinese repack
2. Rocket rom v1.4
3. Rocket rom v1.5
4. mobile odin
To flash ICS :
1. You can be on any GB rom, just make sure you are rooted
2. Before you start, backup your phone then boot to recovery, wipe cache, dalvik and data then Reboot the phone
3. Install mobile odin, if you have not buy it, you need the lite version
4. Flash the CF ICS chinese repack
5. After flashing, phone will automatically boot to recovery
6. Again wipe cache, dalvik and data (no reboot)
7. Now flash rocket rom v1.4
8. Again wipe cache, dalvik and data
9. Reboot the phone when all is wiped
10. Takes abuot 5- 10 minutes for the phone to boot first time, after bootup set up google account
11. When done, power off phone and boot to recovery
12. Now, ONLY wipe cache and dalvik, DO NOT WIPE DATA
13. Flash rocket rom v1.5
14. Once done reboot the phone
15. First boot up you will see "Android is upgrading.. Optimizing xx of 148 apps"
16. Play with the phone for 5-10 minutes, likely you will encountered some random vibrate... just reboot the phone 2nd time, all will be well
17. That's it you are done, celebrate the success

I'm on the ROM for 13 hours already, 6 hours on sleep, 4 hours heavy usage. and so far not a single SOD. I only installed Whatapps, EXDialer and a few network games for now... slowly testing the phone.... it's smooth as hell, no way to go back to GB now... homescreen, Nova launcher, no lags whatsoever... will try ADW later as that is my prefer launcher... and the face unlock is cool... hahaha... but gimmicky ler...
Hope the above helps, for newbie it may be too much but you have to have the patience and read and read and read... can ask here as well and I'm sure the guys can help you...
