I can honestly say I do not face any major issues with midnote ICS rom. I still don't understand why so few users keep reporting they have so many issues. Infact all such issues reported by them ( even on Criskelo, team rocket) i do not faced at all. My phone is now working better than on GB rom. It is faster and best of all I like operating temperatures is cooler,  most is at the 40+ ( rarely exceed 45 degree C) . MY main dislike that all these roms cannot display caller id names/photos was solved with update to latest gapps dated 4 march. Again I still read of some users only unable to have this sorted out - I dunno why this is so ?
My phone is close to 99.9 % perfect on Midnote ICS - my main usage is browser, FB, RSS, tweeter, newsfeed, email, phone call, SMS ( some MMS ), once a while some camera shots. All these works perfectly . I have no FC issues and freezes just a short millisecond do occur once a while , not often probably most 1-2 times a day, but I can live with it as its advantages overshadow these extreme minor issues
There is absolutely no phone and keyboard issues at all even on all the other ICS roms I have tested. Again such issues are minority users reporting
I strongly believe problematic issues could be due to 3rd party apps interference esp users using cracked pirated apps though most will not admit. I do not use such apps at all , probably why I do not faced such instability problems

Referring to midnote ics discussion, they hv their own problem as well...the best so far is the china galaxy note rom version base. Due to some major upgrade issue samsung hv to delay it... Kira nasibla.

Some people seems like using the same process but still hv fc,phone problem and keyboard issue. May be its depend of apps installed as well.

Still waiting for ics custom out of beta to release.

rocket ics no wifi.issue. only aopk roms plentyof bugs n issues esp wifi, no video record saving, EXT SD card mount issue n unable to install app that directly install on ext sd, no s pen function n.no soen apps
still will only recommend either midnote.or criskelo for ics rom

Midnote has caller id issue. I need this features as well.
I need fully functional and stable wifi, phone and camera.

S-pen, maps, market, or other apps if hv problem or issue, i hv no problem on that.

i have absolutely no caller id display issues after upgrade to gapps dated 4mar. names n photo displayed witbout any problems. same.goes for criskelo rom . however one user here report he is unable to have this while.others are ok. try yourself to assess
phone n camera n wifi absolutely no issues

My friend have issue with wifi after he flash to Midnote ,

I do not understand why the ICS on the SGS II is so disappointing
What I can say running the leaked ICS rom on my Note has given it a completely new life. Despite the presence of slight bugs that randomly crop up once a while, I will never want to go back to any GB roms. The ICS build is so much faster and best of all the operating temperatures is way cooler by at least 3 to 5 degree C. My max temp I have ever hit even on 3G continuous browsing more than hour  is max 42 degree C unlike 48-50 degree C previously. Live charging on AC is averaging 33 degree C only. And I do not use setcpu anymore on my ICS roms. This ICS rom is just simply amazing - cannot wait fro the official version

And i have also tested the full LC1 rom and Cassie lite LC1 - just half a day on both and decided to go back to my ICS Midnote rom. Those who wish to try LC1 , I'd recommend Cassie lite rom which is much faster than the full stock rom

I read your blog - i think is your flashing method - you must start with a clean Chinese leak and install latest gapps datedc 4 march; my comments on your NOT OK after using Midnote more than a week already

NOT OK:
NEVER happens at all to me ALL your listed cases: it is indeede cstrange you faced such issues

-Sometime fail to run phone and contacts app. Have to use GoPhone and GoContact : I use default app never use these go apps
-Dolphin Browser HD freeze if you type on the address bar too fast.
-Fail to run My files due to Internal Storage Error Message. Scary man.
-Message received with no Sound notification
-Lock screen sometime freeze and have to wait
-Nova Launcher frequently crash and re-start

It doesn't matter - even very  first version works very well . no need to use latest version
you will get his latest version with his latest CF kernels - i think it is 5.0.2.7 now
