ah... ya... i din notice the softkeys...

how many are excited about the official ICS for our Note? i've read about how ICS is not giving a good experience on Asus  Transformer. wondering how is it with those on sgs2 in EU that's already getting ICS. hope its not a disappointment...

It will be..just so so when GNote receive ICS. Same like ICS on S2. It's NOT gonna change the world :-)

ya a class 4 is more than enough as in reality we wont really notice that much different in speed on daily use unless you are benchmarking it.

btw, nowdays the price of class 10 memory card is already considered quite cheap compared to last time and the most importantly is you need to get some reliable brand and at least class 4 of memory card like sandisk.

thanks for reply!=)

Just wanna ask, i selected GSM/WCDMA auto mode but i disabled the data connection, so will it turn on automatically?

i knew that it will consume lots more battery life for this mode, so when it comes to charging the note, what's the correct way to charge, i mean wait until it left 10-20% or i can charge it anytime if i can?

thanks in advance ...

I do not understand why the ICS on the SGS II is so disappointing
What I can say running the leaked ICS rom on my Note has given it a completely new life. Despite the presence of slight bugs that randomly crop up once a while, I will never want to go back to any GB roms. The ICS build is so much faster and best of all the operating temperatures is way cooler by at least 3 to 5 degree C. My max temp I have ever hit even on 3G continuous browsing more than hour is max 42 degree C unlike 48-50 degree C previously. Live charging on AC is averaging 33 degree C only. And I do not use setcpu anymore on my ICS roms. This ICS rom is just simply amazing - cannot wait fro the official version

And i have also tested the full LC1 rom and Cassie lite LC1 - just half a day on both and decided to go back to my ICS Midnote rom. Those who wish to try LC1 , I'd recommend Cassie lite rom which is much faster than the full stock rom

It will not auto enabled and why buy a smartphone and disabled such stuffs ??? The Note battery life is great and I always leave the data on 24/7 since day one I bought it. Don't listen to other bullshit that these will take a big toll on the battery life. Monitor it yourself. Or if you so worry about this install 3rd party apps eg juice dewfender which will auto disconnect data when you don't use and auto reenabled it back when you need it
You can charge your phone at any level, any number of times you like. Refer to http://batteryuniversity.com/learn/article...m_ion_batteries
to understand more

YES DEFINITELY - I guess-estimate at least 30 % better , mainly I would say due to the cooler operating temperatures

NO - no androids support NTFS unless you root and hacked some system files

guys who already flashed xxlc1?izzit battery life better than xxLa1 and XXlb1?

Not much difference - the rom will not affect so much battery life. It is the kernel which is more important. If you want to test LC1 - I highly recommend Cassie lite version - battery life is obviously better than the full rom versions - I estimate at least 10 % better . But I was only on these roms half a day each only

TMNet settings :

POP : pop.tm.net.my
SMTP : roam.tm.net.my

username : key in full email address

Others leave as default

TMNet servers sucks big time; try again. I faced such issues also sometimes when i need to reset account after hard reset. Just try again later. It is not phone problem

I don't really catch what you truly want but here goes.
- supposed you receive videos A via bluetooth.
- open your My Files app and you'll find videos A is inside bluetooth files.
- if you open Gallery, that videos A was name 'bluetooth' instead of videos A because it reside inside bluetooth files.
- if you want to create new folder just for videos A then you create at My Files.
- create new folder exp. Videos A in My Files then move videos A from bluetooth files into your new Videos A file.
- now if you open Gallery, you'll find your videos A is titled Videos A instead of bluetooth.
*
that means i will see a new folder when i open the gallery?

MobileOdin Pro version 2.30 don't have auto inject for CWM anymore. You can always get CWM when you flash CF-root kernel after you flash your firmware.

I read your blog - i think is your flashing method - you must start with a clean Chinese leak and install latest gapps datedc 4 march; my comments on your NOT OK after using Midnote more than a week already

NOT OK:
NEVER happens at all to me ALL your listed cases: it is indeede cstrange you faced such issues

-Sometime fail to run phone and contacts app. Have to use GoPhone and GoContact : I use default app never use these go apps
-Dolphin Browser HD freeze if you type on the address bar too fast.
-Fail to run My files due to Internal Storage Error Message. Scary man.
-Message received with no Sound notification
-Lock screen sometime freeze and have to wait
-Nova Launcher frequently crash and re-start

It doesn't matter - even very first version works very well . no need to use latest version
you will get his latest version with his latest CF kernels - i think it is 5.0.2.7 now

for the record, i also did not have those problems on MidNote ICS 2.0. It is actually running smooth and fast without any problem on my Note, except that somehow my Note just refuse to display CallerID for me. sweat.gif

maybe every Note is unique and thus has unique "personality and issue". laugh.gif
