Oh No... my center locking not working now
When I press the remote control, the light of signal just blink and the lock not opening or locking. If i open the lock manually with key, i need to press the remote button to disarm. After a while, the door lock by itself. What could be the issue? This morning i sent my new car for tinting. After that still working, until 10 mins ago. The tinting guy screw up the center locking system? So sad!

Hi, i'm new here. So far my car is very good and I liked it very much ! Hehe. But just one thing that I still wonder is it serious or not, about the time setting.

It have happen twice that all of a sudden the time change. the 1st time it was lag for about 30 minutes. but the 2nd time there you go, about couple of years and the time also change to 5 - 6 hours. how this can be happen?

One more, i dont know how to set the radio frequency, somebody can teach me here? Hihi. I tried to find how to do in in the multimedia manual, but then i dont see any of those helps me. huhu

this june am going for 2nd service.

Myvi is 1 reliable chap.got it from my bro last yr,car aged 5 years but everything still working fine. everything inside as fresh as new. frens also cannot believe it's a 5 yrs car. no mod except changed it to leather seat (not ori,but better than ori)

hi guys, saw a myvi 2005 rm20k used car 1.0 only.. my question is the 1.0 engine can support its chasis? what about the fuel consumption for 1.0 and 1.3?

whats the price for 1.3 myvi around 2006-2008 ya? the maintenance fees high or not for myvi? plan to get a manual one as i heard they said auto gearbox will be more easier to spoil after 10 years

indeed..if P2 produce sedan car..i will choice P2 sedan car rarther than proton..
honestly i like my proton Gen2 design with all of my heart...but for the engine and other accessories especially fuel consumption and power windows and doors make me frustrated..

but so far my gen2 really help me alot till now..but lets try P2 technology to assist me in the future 

so anybody want to buy second hand gen 2..pm me..haha

Thanks olman - thought there was new speculation on P2's upcoming models other than the ones in the articles.

All in all, I would prefer P2 to stay in the sub 1.5L range and continue manufacturing rebadged models from Japan. It's a smart move I would say - let the Japanese partners do the R&D, while we concentrate on localisation. The Japanese are so far ahead with their technology and with finances likely many times bigger than P2, they're likely to achieve much more than what we can do here. I'm not intending to put ourselves down but it's a cost-centric and a viable solution, like what GM and SEAT are doing.

Just what I'd like to see here from P2 would be new engines from Daihatsu/Toyota which are much more fuel efficient and leave less carbon footprint compared to what backdated engines we have now piling. The K3-VE and 3SZ-VE has long gone off manufacturing in its home country and the worst thing is that it's left to us as a dumping ground, void of any stringent vehicle emission standards and international level requirements.

Look at the 1NR-FE on 2011 Passo. It's a 1.3L lump, but it's making 101HP and 132Nm of torque. For a nice good comparison, the K3-VE is making 92HP and 123Nm. See how inefficient our engines are, and what's worst that the former is Euro4 and 5 compliant, and the latter only being Euro2.

Of course we could introduce Euro5 to our country, but a certain other local car manufacturer can't really catch up either, so yeah - back to Euro2 and outdated technology

Fellow LB owners, does the steering produce any knocking sound when you're trying to do full turn (left or right)?

Left only or right only or both side also have sound..? U better go SC to check, afraid drive shaft defect

Owh, that one is the turn lock, to stop the wheel turning any further...
