I dont think Lotus is a good investment. Proton give alot of money to Lotus but getting less in return.

YES and Proton made collaboration. Future proton cars will be equipeed yes 4g as standard. They start with Inspira followed by P3-21A.
They no longer use that trademark anymore. Now it is Proton Ride & Handling. They confident enough to use 'Proton' trademark since it still good anyway.

another thing is, able to afford and not buying it probably also means their cash is locked somewhere else or they have plan for their money... basically it means they need to sacrifice something in order to get a better car... i.e. memang cannot afford, just cook up story to make themselves feel better, same like me

I don't want Lotus (Brits) to own by other foreign company. Jag and Land Rover is own by TATA (India), AM is now own by Kuwaiti company, Rolls and Bentley is under German now.

i believe its a registered trademark of proton.. although drb planned to sell lotus, i believe they are not going to sell the whole shares.. they might retain small amount of shares to keep using the Lotus ride and handling..

its already improved in late models
same like early days of korean cars in late 90s & early 2000 till post 2010 which bugged with many mechanical & electronic probs too

i think korean cars also till now still bugged with the same probs

just too many proton haters here(maybe some of them also korean cars owner)

i agreed cause not at the function is because their service charge and lausi quality product from proton as my first car is wira
now i drive toyota even their service charge is more cheaper than proton

low price @toyota authorised SC?only 1 SC u mention or u had tried several SC?

i can recall some proton SC are overpriced while some are low with good service

Bro... if u compare to JAPAN itself, US is selling double cheaper than Japan itself where toyota born lolx. Japan price is slightly cheaper than here. 3,800,800 yen with tax convert to here is about RM143k

Ic. I juz knew bout that. In that context, I think Proton is following Toyota's foot step: offering much lower prices in foreign country.
