Hard to believe, stock Tab10.1 and Tab7.7 are similar in laggy-ness. MUST FLASH! lol.

^ at least someone is working on CM9 for Tab7.7 right now. Hopefully more developers chip in.

3.0 is better for me. A little bit smoother.

Cm9 is in alpha 1. Anyone tried it? I will wait till wifi is better.

for battery saving, use titanium backup to freeze unwanted apps, and setcpu to manage cpu, and juice defender. no need the tweaked rom for that.

for performance, did tweaked rom offer modded kernel? no, still stock kernel right? so if u see slight improvement of performance, means it just works bcoz of Steve remove many stock apps and utilities, which always run in background on shipped rom. and again you can use TB to do this. and, yeah, zipalign and deodexed also favor a bit of performance improvement. but for true performance improvement, it need modded kernel.

log in to google to install all your apps automatically? and it just took you 30 mins? u must be on 4g network then. LOL. or u juts have a handful of apps. and how about free apps? it does not appear on your account's download list. have to search manually in Play Store. and from a bit of research, some apps might not work properly anfter being restored from TB. Steve itself mentioned something like> "do not report a bug if u experience issues after restore apps from TB".

sorry for re-iterate myself, i'm just sharing my thoughts at least for some noob who are not really familiar of what they are intended to do, just follows others. people root, they root, people flash rom, and also they did.

Did the keyboard changed in Tweaked 3.0? It looked different to me. Maybe I just didnt use the stock Sammy keyboard long enough.

yeah, a lil of tweak, but not the whole kernel itself. but bear in mind 2D rendering is required for some purposes, now if he removed 2D rendering, it might looks smoother for some reason, but wait until someone stumble into a bug due to lost of 2D rendering.

instead, i favor what he did on the init.d script.

i mean, this is still a good progress. but it will never be a success unless dev touch the kernel. else, it will just be somewhat disappointing.

to have admin access to system files so that :

1. Can install apps such as Titanium backup ( full backup and restore of all apps n its associated data), adfree to remove those pesky adds, overclock/underclock apps such as setcpu
2. Flash custom roms
3. Install clockworkmod recovery so that you can flash roms, kernel, modem. And do a full rom backup . With CWM anytime your tab failed to boot, can always recover it in recovery mode

he's not going to focus on HC already, but sadly, we still need to wait for quite a long time before ICS reaches us and dev.

china brand only cost rm40 at mudah.my...
there are also same model with wired one...



china brand stylus + headset only cost rm40 also at lelong.com.my..
the original samsung bluetooth pen cost about rm300...


will update if found new cool product....

yeah, sad that we have a great device, but not much support from Android community.. stock HC itself is laggy and nothing we can do now, but finger crossed that ICS is coming soon and not bring along bugs. i'm quite tired of android dy, but there is no other option now, we just need to bear with it as it grows. the thing i love about this device is the design, portability, display and functions which was why i chosen it over ipad.

Don't be sad. I use it like a boss and only use Bluetooth once in awhile.

im thinking to buy Zagg Invisible Shield for my dear Tab. coz i love to use it without casing to keep it light and slim.

Anyone want to join? if we can gather many people to organize bulk order is better
