Hi All, I'm pretty noob about insurance so thought I'd ask here.

Basically, I'm looking to get life insurance (still debating between whole life vs term) primarily as risk management. If term, I'm looking at a tenure or ~20-30 years.

My insurance agent is trying to get me to buy ILP. I'm wondering if there is insurance w/o ILP and what the price different would be.

Coverage on death / TPD, I'm looking at around 1 Mil but can consider higher depending on premiums. Basically, I'm looking to find out how much plans would be with no surrender / cash value.

u can try prubsn warisan product...if u pay higher premium u can shorten the paying period while still enjoying the same coverage..eg: pay for 10 yrs but coverage for 30-40 years..higher cash value.

if cost is your concern term insurance is definitely cheaper..can set the tenure upto retirement age eg: 6o years....but no cash value lor..so there is pro & cons to each ILP & term

Hey guys,

my sister bought a PrudentialBSN Takaful Medical Card on Year2007,

Below are the details of benefits :

Questions,

Should her surrender the current plan and change to this > PRUvalue med (buy new) instead?

buy the Prubsn Anugerah plan bro..its a traditional medical card. (not Investment link product)

unlimited lifetime limit. got annual limit starting from 150k per annum

32 male smoker only rm 106. can supplement the card u having now.

Ermm..

Not intend to switch product,

But wanted to switch from PruBSN to Prudential..  tongue.gif

The guy told me PRUvalue med is just a purely medical card?
I thought it supposedly cover the Death & TPD and CI and also Investment Link ?

who said to u? PVM is a rider attached to investment link plan lah..haha

any reason why u wanna switch from prubsn to pru? anyway which card u having now?

prubsn anugerah is a traditional plan...non ILP..hence cheaper price..but downside is little cash value lar. but cheaper mah. look at what is your financial needs oso

which mean the Life and CI Accident riders can add-on to the medical card ?
the so call insurance guy.  mega_shok.gif

I having the PruBSN Medical Card with riders attached I believe,

You may refer to my previous reply.

Reason why I wanna switch is because the guy told me the medical card coverage no longer able to cope for the future medical cost woh...  unsure.gif

FYI, This year onward I need to pay RM135+ monthly for the PruBSN Medical card..

how many years already u taking the current medical plan? whats the yearly limit?

how old are you? instead of taking new card why not take additional med card to supplement your medical needs. additional rm 150k annual limit & unlimited lifetime limit...cheaper oso. so backup your current card

bear in mind if you already claimed with your current card making it harder (more thorough checking) if u wanna take pruvalue med. plus the additional waiting period. but again upto you lor
