QUOTE(KennyKB @ Jun 11 2012, 11:52 AM) Nokia Pureview 808 has arrived in Bolehland for RM1899. A very stiff price for a Symbian phone. Unless photography is your main priority better get a 64GB N9 for RM1600 instead. I have both N8 and N9 and can tell you on GPS navigation, N9 is disappointing. So go for 808 if photography AND GPS are your priority.

QUOTE(pikacu @ Jun 24 2012, 11:54 PM) not sure which on the screen you meant, home feeds? you want to deactivate the update? or uninstall it? on one of the screen, top right hand corner, there is a accuweather icon with temperature etc. I am traveling and don't want to accidentally use overseas roaming data, hence want that off the screen (hence not incurring data). any idea? thanks

QUOTE(wes c @ Jun 25 2012, 07:35 AM) Go to Settings->Mobile Network and select "Don't allow" at the Data roaming selection (the 4th entry from top) should disable your phone from roaming data Sorry for asking. You mean, that is the ONLY setting needed on N9 to avoid any type of expensive data usage when overseas? No Facebook? No Skype? No weather apps? No auto-apps updates?

Bluetooth problem.
All of a sudden, my PC can't detect my N9 and vice versa. But the N8 and N9 can connect to each other just fine. How come?

QUOTE(pikacu @ Jun 28 2012, 10:19 AM) 1. my android sesuka hati reboot own its own, but before that, it lags ALOT. 2. Yeap, my N9 hardly lags even though with heavy usage. And..I charge my phone when the battery less than 30-49% by using laptop/PC. I don't understand. Every time I press something, eg. Setting/Device, it always takes a second or 2 to display the menu. Where got no lag?

I have 2 computer. From Day 1 since I hooked up the N9 with these 2 computers, every time I booted up the computer, Window OS will go through installing some bluetooth driver and always failed. So all subsequent booting up of computer, I have to go through it all over again. It's a nuisance. Any idea what's going on? thks

QUOTE(KennyKB @ Jun 30 2012, 12:59 PM) Go to Control panel, open device manager and look for a driver or device with (!) on it and delete it. Also try Start>Run>msconfig check the startup tab and see it there are any items which should not be there and uncheck them. I have an N8 and N9. This problem only started after I have the N9. So I presume it's some sort of driver needed for the N9. If so, where do you get this N9 driver? thks

QUOTE(KennyKB @ Jun 30 2012, 04:30 PM) There's no need to get any N9 driver. Windows will install the necessary drivers when you plug it in. However in your case you can try installing Nokia Link which will install some drivers. I thought of that and had installed Nokia Link. I also have Nokia Suite (for the N8) & PC Suite (for some of the function that is missing in the Nokia Link) on the computer, may be that has something to do with it?

QUOTE(KennyKB @ Jun 30 2012, 06:03 PM) If your system is already messed up installing more drivers may make it worse. I would try the following in this order. 1) Run an anti-virus check. PC clean2) System restore back to a date where it works with your N9 or before you first plug your N9 in. Not possible. Problem occurs months ago and I doubt the restore point is still available3) Delete the USB controllers from Device Manager and re-install from the CD which comes with your motherboard. Ha. 4 yrs old PC where can still find original CD.But it's a Dell so may be Dell got it4) Re-install Windows as a fresh OS, not on top of the old OS. This is drastic and lots of work. More work than this annoyance. The 4th option is very drastic but if you want to get rid of the annoying double boot you have to bite the bullet. It will probably clean up a lot of other things as well.

My Win 7 can't see my N9 via Bluetooth under Window Explorer. But I can transfer files between the 2. No such problem with the N8. Any idea?

QUOTE(KennyKB @ Dec 20 2012, 03:17 PM) Probably a feature of Symbian but not a feature of MeeGo. Window can treat the N8 as just one of the normal disk drive. But can't seem to do that with N9.

QUOTE(KennyKB @ Dec 20 2012, 06:08 PM) I think that is due to USB on the go which N9 doesn't have. Both were linked using Bluetooth
