Oic but i google it just now many scientist said it also will bring harm to human life in long term period. ( Wireless charging )
*
which is why I don't think wireless charging is where technology should advance. They should advance to a 5 minutes full charge, and apply that to a hybrid car too

5 minutes full charge it will take 100 years later i think.  rolleyes.gif

nope, I think engadget already posted some research on battery charging within minutes, but it's still on early phase of research, they already successfully done a POC and it shows positive result, and says to expect it within 2-3 years, lol

it says something like our battery now is slowly charged from the side to the center, while this uses some special conductor to charge the whole battery simultaneously

let's just hope it will become common in few years time thumbup.gif

Just searched around.
>>>In Nokia's proposed design, the heavier components of a phone, such as the radio aerial and battery, are supported on a strong frame. This frame can move alongside two sets of rails.

Read more: http://www.foxnews.com/tech/2010/03/11/nok.../#ixzz25fpNQ1od

Means when we shake the phone the battery would actually be moving here and there, won't feel that solid eh sad.gif guess they'll figure something out tongue.gif

if you want kinetic it has to be something like that... Now I wish Tony Stark really exists, just him though, not the villians

I think we've hijack this thread enough  laugh.gif

Anyway back to N9 stuff. Did anyone face issues with Wazapp today? I seem to have issue receiving msg all of a sudden. Confirm can send but can't receive, have to quit & restart everytime to receive. Also tried deleting db.

Got fed up & reinstalled back build 29082012-1330, restored my old db from that build & voila, everything works again.  hmm.gif
*
i got something similar, but i just quit and re-open, everything runs fine, will test agian later and report here

honestly if N9 has a official whatsapp client i am so happy to use N9 as my main phone now

i mean, I'm using now, just that kinda saddens me that sometimes we have downtime like this... maybe they should just send a minor change log to wazzap team, since they are not supporting it, they could at least do some good by providing the changes to reduce the time needed by wazzap team

did you used your whatsapp somehwhere else during the downtime?
*
nope, i only have one device now, so no way that'll happen, but i'll delete my account and register again

QUOTE(zachary22_77 @ Sep 11 2012, 11:32 AM)
I also dislike restarting so I don't restart much. I never needed to restart for Wazapp update.

Maybe you should try uninstalling Wazapp first, then install the latest one I just posted.
*
i'll try register again, reinstall would be my last resort... and dayummm my chat all gone liaw now after restart just now @@

for my case, i unplug normally around 12.30pm ( lunch time ), then went to lunch, using wazzap sometime( like, 10-20 minutes per hour) and email sync schedule 20 minutes, i can still use pretty much until the next morning sometimes, or sometimes the battery fell to around ~30% at midnight. pretty ok for me

Anyone know how I can access/use the remaining storage space on a Nokia N9?

As in, this happened to me -
Connected N9(64GB), which is practically empty except for the basic apps, preloaded songs and movies..to my laptop using the usb cable and selected the mass storage option.

I tried to put a copy a movie, about 5GB, to the 'movie' folder on my N9 but the was rejected because 'not enough space, please inset new disk"..but my N9 is storage space is soooo empty..

Can anyone tell me how to solve this? Many thanks
*
the mass storage is using FAT32 partition, which will only accept a file up to 4.2GB ( if i remember correctly, or just 4GB), anything bigger then that, regardless of how much empty space u have, it will just show u not enough space bla bla bla, you can try with a HDD with a FAT32 partition, it will give u the same problem. Solution? split the movie into 2 parts. I'm not too sure if N9 has the kernel support for NTFS or not, you can try to look it up, but chances are if you forcefully change the partition format to NTFS ur phone won't be able to read the drive anymore ( FAT32 can be converted to NTFS without erasing the data inside of the drive, but not the other way round )

Guys, is the N9 wifi hotspot compatible with Android tablet ie Samsung Tab 2? I read its not compatible but there's a way around it. Have to use the Samsung tab for a work project, cant used laptop/PC cos the software used is Android based.
*
not sure, but i recall our hotspot feature now is detected as Ad-Hoc mode, check and see if there's anyway for ur tab to detect it or not, i remember some Android OEM disabled ad-hoc network detection by default

Haiseh, the Samsung tab is company one, cannot root or change any programs on it. Celcom 3G (also under company)sucks at certain areas, I was thinking use the maxis on my N9.
*
it is very easy to unroot, last time i bring my Asus Transfomer to service, i almost forgotten that i rooted, and i just unroot when i was waiting for my queue, lol

just delete off superuser from the app there and delete/hide all the root apps will do, and if u know how to root once, u can do it easily twice

I bought a black USB door from the service center in Amcorp mall. Very cheap. I think it was RM 15, or RM5, can't recall. But I'm very sure it's less than RM20. You can call and ask for stock availability. If they don't have, ask for the Lumia 800 one, it's the same. I have a spare one now, just waiting for my current one to break tongue.gif
*
wow, that's some nice info, if that's really the case i might buy 2 cyan and keep stock also, dunno when will mine break also, it's already slowly slowly cracking its way up, lol

I can't think of much difference between official one and wazzap, if you must say, it still have a few bugs, that's all.
