Nothing to do with micro sim. I used to face no network issue. after awhile it will be permanent. The best I recommend you get ncc to replace the motherboard that fixes my no network issue.
My recommendation
make sure your micro sim is not cut if cut go to your Telco to get a micro sim
Try use another simcard and if you are using digi try use maxis.
After that if problem still occur try take a rubber and rub the metal part
And if still got this issue send to ncc for motherboard replacement.

Remember if you faced any issue with the phone do not blame the phone but blame the owner because of laziness. You notice my phone very rarely have problems i been doing this similar method to most of my phones and it works great todate.
That one of my tip to make your phone works great.

thats because nokia marketing strategy always launch the device to test the market before they launch the best. Like Nokia X7 - Music Nokia N8 - Camera Nokia E6 - Business
Back then they are market share they can do that but due to too many competition and especially iphone they still use the same strategy thats how they end up like that. We been watching it continue to go down.
If you notice all their competition their products always go upwards. Like iphone their device keep improving and improving from generation to generation making people look forward for the next upcoming device.
But Nokia they are backward compatible like from autofocus camera can become EDOF camera =.="
From stereo speakers can become Mono speaker.
The hardware upgrade are too slow because they think many years ago they are market share so they play the slow game and didnt expect samsung, HTC, Sony Ericsson to suddenly grow that fast due to android.
Like back then when they launch Nokia N900 so many people love the phone the single core 600mhz processor can be overclock to 1ghz and beat an android 1ghz phone. Their mistake they focus on symbian and ignored maemo. From that moment onwards it declines all the way.
They keep using their test market strategy.

The stain you see is usually cause by wiping the lens area some water or dirt will go in. I have this issue with my N9 and Nokia Lumia 800. But usually wipe it will come off.
Remember that even a grain of sand can scratch your screen. Sand (silica) has a hardness of 7 while steel is only 4.5. Using your N9 without protector is like doing something without a condom. Many times you get away but it only takes one...
hahahaha yeap you can dodge 1000 bullets but it only takes 1 to hit. I seen before hairline crack on my friend Nokia N9 its not obvious but at certain angle you can see but i guess they want to play with the odds haha good luck.
Oh yea the good news is nokia wont replace the casing for you even its a hairline scratch lol.

why do I'm receiving 'No Messages' problem?!!! sifu aspire do you any solution for the problem?AFAIK your friend always receive this kind of problem right?
Yea if u have too messages this will pop up. Try restart your phone you will have a glimpse of your messages than disappear when the phone complete startup.
You just need wait for a few messages to come it will suddenly reappear and also later disappear.
I am not sure whether is this issue have been fixed on pr1.3 I'll let you know when I have that many messages on my n9
Hi sifus, I'm totally new to n9 here. I just read through the previous threads about the cut microsim issue. Facing similar problem here, no mobile network detected
Anyone knows where they got their microsim from then? Not the diy microsim ones where you have to cut it yourself. I don't mind switching telco's or anything, as long as I get to use the n9. I'm from KL/Selangor btw. Thanks!!
Edit: Just called maxis/hotlink, and apparently all their sim cards come in the small gold chip versions now. So I'm guessing I can still cut at phone shop to use it with the n9
why dont you just go to telco request for a micro sim? Why make life a hectic by cutting it? Later damage your N9 worse.
Went to times square digi centre and requested for it. They gave me a normal sim, and then used the sim cutter to cut it, that's all. Said apparently my sim version is 20 and I can't get the dedicated microsim. In the end looked exactly like my old microsim. Both not functioning, DiGi centre sucks Going to mnp to hotlink soon
weird got such thing? go to maxis centre and ask its RM25 for MNP maybe its free.
