They don't do C.O.D?
they do but also try to cheat you when COD. The seller make a bullcrap story My case was giving a china imitation phone and said is real. If you know how to check is real is alright some do not know.
Now with android even easier to cheat. SGS II look exactly like one even android. But when u check the spec and quality its fake.

THISSSSS I wish this too..the camera gallery suits N9 more than Symbian! N9 more open than Symbian... I dont even know how to edit Symbian's vKB...until today....but I takes me a little while at google (at TMO) to figure out how to edit vKB for N9.
The reasons why 808 is preferred over a DLSR has been explained in the 808 thread. One is restrictions to places where DLSR can be brought in. And its bulky. The technical differences between n8 and 808 camera sifus listed out. Quality? Its better than my RM1,200 P&S, as good as or better than 'semi pro' cameras but less bulky.
Anyway, with 808, if security question : This camera? Camera cannot bring in. Can say - Nope, this handphone, see its Nokia, nokia make hp, not camera.
Our N9, its unique, its for keeps as collection, none like it though the L800 tries to be, only succeded on the outside
nicely said you get the points there. Some sifu have tested this against hasselblad camera at same resolution the details are better in certain shots due to its over sampling technology

Thats why the Nokia 808 pureview is more a camera + phone but people keep comparing it as phone + camera because the brand is NOKIA.
For me its just an ideal phone because i need a good camera + phone on the go.
Actually if you compare the price of RM1899 with the camera performance of P&S such as this you can never get it both combination with tons of features.
If you see the samples even some people owns mirrorless camera or P&S also shocked their phone perform better than their dedicated camera.
I also disappointed why didnt the Nokia N9 camera get improvement.

Not that I think Symbian isn't a capable OS, it is definitely better than WP7.5 but Nokia has sounded the death gong for Symbian just like MeeGo. Symbian isn't able to attract developers now so it will fall behind in apps. It is also hobbled by its 360x640 resolution, the lowest for smartphones now.
Another tragedy is that Symbian apps are freely pirated so many developers just give up on the platform. There is very little piracy protection as those knowledgeable ones can intercept the .sis file before they are deleted from the phone and distribute.
thats not something new. Do you know after u jailbreak your iOS device close to everything is free and easily be downloaded with installous with full library to choose. At least symbian you still need to find the sis files.

Tested the new Molome update and there are some cool new filters for us to pick on. You can also share your pictures to Flickr, Tumblr and Weibo.
cool. Thats what i wanted to upload to flickr weeeeee. Btw currently windowsphone seems to be getting alot support from developers now it have whatsapp, viber, talkbox, tango and line
I dont think really a gimmick just imagine you walking down the road you are confuse which shop it can point exactly to the shop. Its very useful especially on foot.
So sad, that means the Lumia version has more functions than the Symbian and MeeGo version. City Lens for Lumia, every orientation got different view. Pretty awesome.
I do agree, it's a bit gimmicky. But, having said that, gimmicks go a long way in luring customers who are sitting on the fence (look at the Galaxy S3 and their many motion-based gestures) . It's all in the presentation, and Nokia Beta Labs have some really interesting apps.
I agree with aspire, it does look very useful for those on foot. If and when you need it, it's there Plus, no one's got any AR-based apps yet, so it can raise some awareness on the N9/Lumia etc.
I know that because i used to try GPS at melaka and walk around melaka town by foot. The GPS even you reach your destination you also not sure its right or wrong because its shop outlets. SO with this i just need point it at the shop it will show me which is the correct shop
Actually this is something I expected after the recent press conference where they fired 10,000 ppl. The 1st thing they mentioned was aligning to a new core service structure in mapping solutions. The only thing that could have meant is they become a huge mapping provider.
Instead of thinking negative on this, there is some positive. Nokia has basically tied themselves to Windows 8 platform. I'm very sure this agreement will mean for every Windows OS sold in phone, tablet or PC, they will be paid for their maps being used. How much or how are they paid, up to us to imagine.
Negative of course is now Nokia is just like any other OEM WP phone maker. I do wonder how does Samsung feel though, when they release their WP8 phone, they have to stick Nokia Drive in there.
it must be weird seeing Nokia Drive in a Samsung phones. And we know when other manufacturer like Samsung, HTC , LG and etc comes to challenge they go for higher processor, screen and features. If you think positive if nokia wanna to stay in the game they have to upgrade to match their competition too.
Yeap, will be weird see Nokia name in Samsung or HTC phone. Oh ya, LG is not a launch partner, but Huawei is. Anyway, hardware chipset is still being control by MS so only thing might see different from each OEM in 1st batch of WP8 phones is maybe slightly different clockspeeds, different screen sizes & of course, different designs. But at least they are using the Snapdragon S4 dual-core as the starting point. This is the same chip used in overseas HTC One S which performed very well against a 4+1 core Tegra 3.
just wonder how fast is WP8 multitasking is. The current L900 owners might be raging.

In a way this will be good for consumers. When you have competition you need to be better. We probably see bigger screen , bigger ram , bigger storage capacity on a Nokia.
