Nokia n9 have issue like simcard issue. Mine suddenly can't detect my card send for warranty before they change the motherboard for me. The service was good they replace it in 2 days

After they replace the motherboard this issue never come back. Before this sometimes can detect sometimes cannot I am sure it's not cut simcard issue because this same self cut micro sim been used on iPhone, iPad, n9 and lumia.

Meego have great future i dont know what vision does elop have to let it end like tat or else by today meego is at par with android or better

No matter how good the community is there is limitation. It will become very frustrating in porting compare to what is already there and you improve. Just imagine the real app come out with video calls they might take another year to port havent include bugs or other issues

its a good start for social networking for N9 better than dont have at all. Now symbian having same issue too only got whatsapp.

lately not many uses msn,yahoo IM . benefit of viber, whatsapp, line they are integrated with your contact numbers so you immediately know who are using this apps you can immediately start a conversation with them.

true you have some point there. But we follow technology evolving. Lately i notice more ppl message me on viber and whatsapp compare to facebook and msn. Alot my friends that use msn now dont use anymore.

sometimes i dont understand what elop trying to do?

its sad to see the OS so much potential but now its slowly dying.

Furthermore Tizen aka meego now research by samsung. I guess soon samsung will conquer the mobile market.

actually nokia all the while have the advantage over other OS like android anytime. Mistake was porting over to Wp7 and announce its death especially for their two major OS aka symbian and meego.

Nokia already have the best of GPS aka nokia maps and drive and carl zeiss optics and if you notice this is the other OS weakness if nokia just push the apps and stable OS nokia is already on top. I dunno what elop trying to do until todate

I am also disappointed so much potential they should just go with two OS side by side meego and WP7 that will help to boost sales like what other manufacturer are doing WP7 and Android.

The question now WP7 is not solely for nokia but shared between so many manufacturer. The biggest question is how will this make nokia become No. 1 again.

It not important how many they can sell what matters is the more they sell the higher the nokia shares will go. if its not wonder why

2G GPRS: 56Kbit/s
2.5G EDGE: 236.8 kbit/s
3G UMTS: 384 kbit/s
3.5G HSDPA: 14,400 kbit/s - 14.4 Mb
4G: faster than above can reach 100mbps if telco allow (Needs a 4G phone like Nokia Lumia 900)

For video call 3G and above required. 3G consume more battery compare to 2.5G so if u are not doing any extreme internet stuff using data packet switch to 2G to prolong battery life

This the two key features of a mobile phone nokia already got it cover and nokia started way before other OSses and they have amazing community support we seen that since Nokia N900. Where went wrong? Elop.

Its same like whatsapp indicator but just there use a different type

Red means sending
(Real watsapp this is one tick) Yellow means sent to server but recipient havent received the message aka not online
(Real wats app this is two tick) Green means receipient received your message

Some FAQ:

What is this dot that appears when a message is sent?
Red dot is message not sent yet. Yellow is sent and delivered to server, and Green is delivered to your friend

How long do I have to wait if registration fails?
Registration failure error has a number like "fail-too-recent:", X is the number of minutes you have to wait before trying again.

Will I still receive notifications when I close it?
-If you close wazapp by swipe down or from tasks window, it will remain running in background and you will receive notifications normally. If you close wazapp using the "Quit" button, it will totally exit and you won't be notified about new messages

Does it support media sending (images,sounds, location ..etc)?
-Not yet. If someone sends you media it will not show up on wazapp, and the sender will not receive a "delivered" receipt from you.

Does it support group conversations?
-It supports group conversations partially. If you already belonged to a group, you will be able to send and receive messages on it. But you cannot create a group. Oh and you won't be able to identify the message sender in a group as well

Does it create an internet connection by itself?
-It uses the current internet connection and does not issue a new one automatically. If you disconnect, reconnect, Wazapp will restore its connection automatically.

Does it support emoji?
-No. And if someone sends you an emoji (smiley face), it would appear most probably as boxes. You might have seen similar behavior if you used Whatsapp on Symbian before it supported emoji

How does whatsapp fee and account expiry work on wazapp?
-Currently if your account expired you won't be notified. Wazapp will not be able to connect without giving a reason.

Can I choose or change my password?
-No

How do I edit pushname ?
-From accounts settings in accounts manager
