Since you all mention, I asked the Nokia Dealer shop abt the price when I pass by just now. 16GB is 1399, 64GB 1699. Salesman said price just drop a few days ago, I think due to Lumia 900 released in US and good fri/easter hols in Spore. Normal hp shop normally sell cheaper than the 1399, 1699. But 1399 for 64GB,hmmmm, dunno, maybe special sales or AP.

lol, now start trend calling S as Samseng, the auto correct function keep correcting me, hahaha.

thanks for the replies guys... especially aspire2oo6

i'm impressed with ur video, never knew N9 1ghz proc got so much power...

it seems u see potential in N9 that the droid mod can be done...  with droid market somemore drool.gif

Hiyaa, like this lah. Meet up with the N9 owners and we show off our N9 to you. For camera, sifu aspire the best.
But I'm not from KL, so far I only saw one other person having the N9 in Melaka. But other ppl keep looking & wondering why no button at my N9, wondering what phone it is, unique mah brows.gif

N9 can also transfer files to a USB on the go phone, just need the cables. Since no SD Card slot, this is one way to transfer large files to another phone. Hmmm, can connect to bluetooth keyboard also but I havent try before & dunno which model compatible.

Did they allow you to play with the phone? Did you check the storage whether really 64GB? Is it Ori or AP set?

mind enlighten on this "fake" ? don't scare ppl eh...

i tot authorised dealer only sells original Avaxx or Zitron sets? ? blink.gif
*
I wouldnt say fake lah, authorised dealer cannot sell fake, kena sue liao tongue.gif
BUT check Settings->Device->Data Storage to see the Total Storage. 16GB & 64GB looks the same, difference is inside, just check if it's really 64GB. 16GB price now is memang RM1,399. If 64GB special sales also RM1,399, then very good deal

I know! Even current sellers are pricing it around 1,8xx for a 64GB N9. But my dilema is, if I were to get it now(tomorrow maybe? brows.gif ) - I would get a black one. I'm really hoping to get a White one tho flex.gif

So how how how..the price 1,399 for 64GB, epicly tempting but no white color N9 !! doh.gif  Tomorrow last day of the sales liao sweat.gif
*
The white one isnt officially coming to Msia. Unless somehow you can find an AP set. Nokia dealer in Melaka said 64GB is RM1699 now, so 1399 is great leh. Betul2 30% cheaper. You wait2 for the white, until neck long also wouldnt see.

If you just waiting for price to drop, when lumia 900 come to Msia, prices will drop again. But by then, the 64GB dunno if sold out. Lol, hard choice eh?

Will buy, when the time is right mate, when the time is right smile.gif If Nokia can lower the price by such depth even once, it shows that they're pretty desperate to win back their market share, so yes, I believe within this year there'll be another sales flex.gif

*
The thing is, next sales, maybe not 64GB n9 liao cos they manage to clear the stock. tongue.gif tongue.gif Next round, 16GB N9 pulak on sales. Hopefully all your hopefullys come true, and no regretfullys whistling.gif

bro eaglehelang, last time how much they clear the 64GB versions?
*
During launch, there was only ard 7 units of 64GB from Nokia Melaka dealer, they r biggest in Melaka, 3 branches.
That too, we from other states must wait 1mth aft launch in KL. By now, other countries already launch, so maybe hv some stock,

True to that thumbup.gif by the way, after getting the phone - can we like, take it straight away to the Nokia Centre to update the phone? or should we do the usual routine of charging the new phone 6-8 hours before turning it on? hmm.gif
*
Not straight update at the dealer shop meh? The Nokia dealer i buy from will also do updates, and transfer contacts from old phone and set up nokia account. Dunno what else they will do, I'm not that demanding, haha.

Yeah aspire, there was an article on that. Small kid, 3,4,5 yr olds, parents in US give iphone to play so will keep quiet when going out. Then, addicted to games, no game, throw tantrum.
In Msia, fast becoming that way. Bring kid to wedding dinner, let the kid play with ipad whole nite so the kid sit quietly.

Result : Younger generation face to face communication skills , social skills reduced to looking at PC,tablet, phone.

Thats why some of my customers terminate internet subscription and keep laptop / smartphones under lock and key(when necessary). In Asia, parents can still control.western countries, dunno lah.

So end up watching videos  brows.gif

Wait till the kids get older. Like Aspire said, they see others have, they will pester you for greatest meanest 5 core device.
But I think the parents that know me kena influence by me, lol. Mostly those who arent familliar with computers/smartphones will ask since they know I like gadgets. The kids pester for Iphone, Samsung S2. I told the parents, no no no, dont spoil them, dont buy expensive phone. Not yet learn how to earn money, use so much money liao. Buy a few hundred ringgit one enuf liao. The kid will stare at me, the spoiler tongue.gif tongue.gif

It's lucky that the 808 PureView is still using Symbian, so they can still maintain majority of their Symbian Customers.
I thought Plan A was the plan all along?  rolleyes.gif

*
At least they are going to release it, so we can enjoy it.
Yeah, I thought Microsoft buying Nokia was THE plan all the while

-Well, the 808 pureview has Sd Card slot, usb on the go, normal sim card, user replaceable battery, flash support. Windows phone will not have all that.

Lumia 900 selling well in US it seems, with the USD100 rebate some more. But overall, Lumia series will not save Nokia. Looking at the response at our side of the world and the Q1 sales.
If Nokia continue to restrict 808 release then we know for sure liao, the plan is for Microsoft to buy over Nokia.

Btw, Yooboo charger good or not? I read the spec can charge all smartphone models, tablets also can

What do you mean Lumia 900 is selling well in the U.S.? They are practically giving it away. Nokia is losing money on every Lumia 900 "sold". A more desperate strategy you could not find.
*
Lol, try saying that in my nokia blog, even there the pro WP ppl will shoot.. Elop will say Lumia is a success. The US users comments has been positive so far. Of course, most havent seen the n9, or 701 on belle. And of course US doesn't represent users globally.
