Where did you get the quotes? Coz I myself is trying to find an Asus system with fifth gen i5. The top one. And my local pc stores dont seem to carry any stocks. I guess waiting till after GST

But searching online I could only see Techhypermart carrying it. Still contacting them to see if they have stockshardly any software uses it. Anyway I'll head to Lowyat to have a look. matt i think only a few models have them (like the U series)U series are very thin and only for work, main game jadi panas 1 or u can be like me and take a matt plastic and tape it on the frame that way no dust enter and easy to clean while have some matt reflection benefits. |

With most laptop aging slowly and not able to run newer games,

Since few of us are using i7 in laptops with 16g ram and ssd config, the only drawback now is the GPU anyone heard of this before? *inb4, mod/TS if this is wrong section, u can help move. |

do u know anywhere can get UX305? Gone through some websites like Harvey Norman and Senheng. Looks like they not carrying that model |

i have a 5 years old Asus A42JK series laptop. Recently it kept on blue screen randomly and I suspected it was the harddisk problem. Didn't bother it though.
Few days ago however it fail to boot. Worst part is it can't even boot into bios, else I would happily format my windows and move on. When I hit the power button, it just lit on the LED, fans running but screen shows nothing. No backlit, no Asus logo, nothing. The caps lock indicator does react if I press the caps lock key. I've tried to boot after I removed the harddisk, no hope. Remove RAM, same no hope. Anyone experienced this? I hope this is not a hardware related issue. |
