How come you're so sure that I am buying it?  tongue.gif

My Captivate? To my sister already.
Now, the phone is on AOKP ROM ICS.
If it doesn't show any problem later, I think I'll leave it already.
Else, I'll flash it back to CM7.  sad.gif

Previously when GNex was released, I read about people complaining on the auto-brightness being cranky. Right now we are at 4.0.2 (officially), is the problem still there?

For mine, it seems fine, though it would be better if we could define the brightness and ranges ourselves (like from CM7/CM9). How about you guys? Did you apply the patch?

Have yet to look into the BatteryMod yet. TS never include them on first page.  rolleyes.gif

huh? battery mod?

instead of volume+, install equalizer by smart Android app
set everything to 8, or higher if its still not loud enough.

just wondering, have you used any other Android phone, that has similar sized battery, and performed better than GNex in terms of battery life?

funny, because my brother's been complaining about his S2's battery life as well. I find that its pretty much the same, or better in terms of standby time. smile.gif

Anyone one knows how to use Color Control in Galaxy Nexus?

Some kernels said they support Color Control, but, I don't know how to use it or do I need any APP for this feature?
*
for franco's I think its using his own app iinm, he have released an app to control everything kernel related. Its a paid app though.

Baseband only affect wifi signal and mobile reception right? Does it has any effect on battery life?
Any celcom user flash mkkd or the latest mla1 baseband. Both are for docomo telco in japan if i'm not mistaken.
*
it does affect battery life, when your phone can't get signal, it will keep trying, and that will eat up a huge chunk of your battery

Wanna ask.. how to disable predictive text in message? Kinda annoying.. sweat.gif

which one are you referring to?

if you mean the red underline then...

settings - language and input - spelling correction

or the auto correct then...

settings - language and input - android keyboard - auto correction - off
