I'm on aokp b27 and franco m1 kernel. Quite smooth and fast but I think trinity is faster than franco. In your opinion, what is the best kernel that has perfect balance between performance and battery life?
By the way, I noticed france m1 voltage setting is really high. Has anyone try undervolt franco m1? I want to follow apex voltage setting that someone posted before, but don't know if it suitable for franco or not.
*
voltage is set to higher than necessary to make it more stable than the usual nightlies, not all CPU chip are the same, some might not be able to undervolt too much and that will cause issue for them.

I have not have any FPS issue for games.

I suggest if you are really concerned with the battery, you should get the 2kmah extended battery

just flashed to M4 too
loving the weather in the status bar!
did you buy the apps from market??
seriously i dun like those kernel tat requires you to buy their apps tats complementing the kernel like franco
boycott big time...just me
*
nope I did not buy the app.

The app is not required for the kernel to work. It does give you more control on the kernel, such as color control and sound control

if you only want to change the governor or speed, use setCPU or AOKP built in settings. smile.gif

Why would you boycott the kernel just because the developer released something to monetize their work? Should they do everything for free at the expense of their own time and hardwork? They deserve the money if they're doing a good job, just imo.
