Totally agree with this, at first i also quite worry about the laguage barrier but end up i decided to go for free and easy in this coming November

Nothing can difficult you unless you do much of preparation and homeworks

I don't speak Mandarin, Cantonese or Korean and yet I survived during my 9 days trip in Korea. No worrylah, if you do your homework, you will able to navigate your way in the city. No need to join tour group. Waste of money and time.

I stayed in Namsan Guesthouse in Seoul & 02 nites in Jeju Hiking Inn. I went for Nami Island & Suwon day trip. Beside Jeju, the rest of the stay was in Seoul.

The people so friendly n helpful
I always find young beautiful lady, salesman to ask for direction
they can speak english
went to family mart to buy tmoney, that aunty cannot speak english
she dont understand what i'm saying then i twist my word
make it broken english, then she understood! haha

Buta Buta go is a big no no..if anything happen(touchwood), u got money also no place to sleep..whichever hotel/hostel as long as walking distance to their subway will do..its cheap n super convenient also..

the guide on how to go Nami island n so on is all available thru out the internet n their visitkorea page. got 2-3 methods to go Nami Island.. Google is ur best fren when comes to free n easy travel style.    unless Google kenot help la.

Cheap ticket depending on airline sales or promotion. Some get it more cheaper & some get it for middle rates. Similar to Air Asia or MAS also. They got sale/promo occasionally.  Jeju to Busan you can take plane or ferry. But ferry longer journeylah. Takes up your day.

KTX start and stop at Seoul station.
