i am looking a Harddrive searching tool ...
any suggestion? if possible plz recommend me a free one notworthy.gif ...
been try few searching tool...but not really user friendly ....

i thought there is a default search tool for every windows? use find option dint get what you want?

the default search tool can't use already ...i guess my hdd got problem...just that window search tool can't use some files are missing...
i lazy to reinstall window so looking for other search tool...i remember there are alot of free software are better than window itself wan ....since i got time ..wanna try some of them lor... laugh.gif

then try searching www.download.com there should be alot of freeware and shareware to use.
since u say hdd got problem i doubt it will work on it sweat.gif

You could try out Agent Ransack (freeware)... has lots of features... And it supports regular expressions as well, so it has lots of potential.. Wish I could shift-delete the files it finds though...

hi guyz,

i m currently using limeware n i m kinda satisfied since its reliable n well connected. also got lots of resources but i hav a problem. my pc is kinda old one tht since lime is using java its kinda slowing down my pc a lot.. is there any other software like lime which reliable and got good connection with lots of source... i previously used ares and winmx but their connection not so good and not lots of resources like lime.. pls hlp me....

i would recommend google desktop search too. nice and large plug-in collection. but i heard that they have some security issues though. sweat.gif
