No wor, anywhere should be fine since I can travel smile.gif

I know most people will camp around Yau Ma Tei or Mongkok places.

I can still travel to there with MTR lor.

Any preferably hotels with good city/bay/anything view from the hotels? I need that lol. Morning boost of excitement is important for the rest of the day lol.

lololololol

ok, i booked this Oriental Lander Hotel. very near Prince Edward Station.
http://www.agoda.com/asia/hong_kong/hong_k...nder_hotel.html

Total RM1,325.12, which means around RM265 per night there.

Strangely it's different from booking.com coz they actually did charge to my card even they state FREE CANCELLATION. (I got the sms from bank)

The reason why ppl camp kowloon rather than hong kong island is due to the MTR locations within the hotel.

I noticed that especially wanchai and causeway bay budget hotel is all located far from MTR stations.

Unless u take those expensive ones which does provide shuttle to nearest MTR

that is what i observed.

agoda website is straight u haf to pay full payment. means u r being charge beforehand. their free cancellation means u can cancel (within the hotel timeline) and they will refund d $ to ur cc. on ur cc statement it will show it.

booking.com is wan ur cc details bt won't charge u (unless u cancel last min, thn u gotta pay 1 nite for the room). once u arrive d hotel, u can pay by cc or cash..

they r two different system

and theres not much there in hong kong island actually...at least from my POV
shopping is very expensive and most can get in TST/mong kok/YMT
food there in my record also tai cheong bakery and yung kee only...others are more to viewing/scenery

yea, after some thinking, MTR cost + higher hotels cost doesnt cut to it. I might end up spending more than booking an expensive hotel in Mongkok area.

Anyway, since it's charged. Might as well go with it. smile.gif Now have to plan what to do with that 5 days lol laugh.gif
