QUOTE(ccgenius @ Jun 18 2012, 08:11 AM) ya as cynnz said, u can find cheaper branded stuff there.. yea citygate is way cheaper coz past seasons...will also drop by there...thanks the 1 i stayed is about rm160 per night.. i think i read somewhere here, some forumers here recommended Case hotel, i went to the hotel to have a look that day, the location is nice.. maybe u can consider.. if you want big rooms and 4 or 5 stars hotel, sure very very expensive there.. food wise.. i saw from $26 HKD (Australia diary company breakfast set 1) to high end price also have Added on June 18, 2012, 8:13 am not very sure.. but then i went to the citygate, price really cheaper compared to msia.. QUOTE(mugenz @ Jun 18 2012, 11:57 AM) an advise is to book earlier. Really way cheaper. Price can more expensive if u book 3 months b4 u go. yea agree with u..im going next week..3 months before this, i have booked golden wave hotel but now we have decided maybe not staying there..but other hotel , we book now...prices increase a lot...still considering now... Kind of regret didnt made up my mind to book Casa priced rm200 per nite. Now is rm360 per nite. So since we paying that much, i increase my budget to rm450 per nite.. zzzzz~ |

QUOTE(terryykf @ Jun 29 2012, 06:20 PM) clothes - zara, h&m, mark & spencer, mng, fcuk, a|x, almost all on sales now....designer handbags - coach, burberry, gucci, up tp 60% but of coz, all are old seasons and not much nice designed left cosmetics - as usual, cheaper compare to msia QUOTE(benl40 @ Jun 30 2012, 08:38 PM) Hi there, I would like to ask about a few things before I plan my trip to Hong Kong November this year. This will be my first trip to Hong Kong. windy - and nice weather...like genting How is the temperature in Hong Kong during these period of time? 11th-15th November, I was told it's about Genting's temperature, is it a good time to go? As this is a 5D4N trip, how much would it roughly cost including lodging and flight for 2? I'm planning to visit Disneyland. Would it be too rush as it is a 5D4N trip? Do I need a Visa to enter Hong Kong? Or do I need it only if I were to visit Macau? I checked from AirAsia, and this is what I get, MYR 1,532.00 for 2, or MYR 1,995.58 for 1 with hotel Eaton Smart, Hong Kong, is it cheap? Is the flight time alright? Depart: 13:20 Kuala Lumpur Intl - (KUL) Mon 12/11/12 AirAsia AK 1658 Arrive: 17:10 Hong Kong Intl - (HKG) Mon 12/11/12 Duration: 3 hr 50 min Regular (A*) Plane: AIRBUS A320 Depart: 10:50 Hong Kong Intl - (HKG) Fri 16/11/12 AirAsia AK 1071 Arrive: 14:40 Kuala Lumpur Intl - (KUL) Fri 16/11/12 Duration: 3 hr 50 min Promo (I*) cost depends on you. flight - depends which airline & whats their promo...5D4N for me i think is not enough hahaha...you will spend a whole day at disneyland...but alternatively you can visit NP360 early in the morning and by the time u finish (around 10- 11am), then can go straight to Disneyland... Nope no visa needed to enter hk and macau of coz this is not the "best" deal that you can get from air asia..since you may be going to macau, why not you depart from kl to macau, then ferry from macau to hk...and back to kl from hk? Eaton is it the one near Yao ma tei? There is a hotel named eaton there but not sure if its the one you mentioned...its very near to MTR YMT & Temple street.. QUOTE(activez @ Jul 25 2012, 12:57 PM) Should I be getting the Tourist pass? Yes there is bus A21 from Nathan Road to HKIA...direct bus ... I will be staying 6D5Ns. 4 nights in casa, wanchai, and last night at Nathan Road. Thought of taking the Bus A21 which forummers mentioned to Casa upon arrival from HKIA. Then from Nathan Road to HKIA is there a direct bus? Or should I be taking the MTR? I don't intend to go to Ocean Park and Disneyland as there is too much walking. What are the other attractions? My Itinerary: Day 1: Arrive at 6pm. Check into hotel and rest Day 2: Ngong Ping and Citygate shopping Day 3: Breakfast Australia Dairy Company Haven't figured out where to go yet Day 4: Still thinking where to go Day 5: Macau. Visit Venetian Hotel and watch House of Dancing Water performance Day 6: Free and easy. 4pm leave for HKIA When is the best time to go to The Peak? Week day or weekend? I have been to Mdm Taussad in Australia. So skipping it in HK. Intend to buy both formal and casual clothes. What watches are cheap? Is Tag cheap there? Don't fancy Casio. What else are good bargains? Thanks. for me, HK is for shopping and shopping and shopping...haha..besides Ocean Park, Disneyland..you can visit NP360, The Peak, Avenue of Star... I think Day 2, you wont spend that long at NP360 and Citygate..maybe can have some other plan for evening / night... Day 3 & 4, if you are into shopping, can go to shopping mall...or even ladies street, fa yuen street etc... For the peak try to go on weekdays coz weekends packed Casual clothes depends what category you are talking, for men/lady? Looking for casual and cheap i think H&M is good choice coz really too cheap ... not sure if H&M, Zara etc stil having summer sales coz their sales just started when i was there end of last month for shopping... Tag is slightly cheaper than here, Tissot also slightly cheaper..not sure bout Casio as I dont fancy Casio too.. |
