it is common - their normal sales job salary is around 10k + commission.
For the past week my normal eating at cha chan sat is below HKD100 for 2 person, have to be frank that eating in Macau is much cheaper. |

If you intend to spend a few days in Macau - do go to any money changer to change to MOP.
If you use HKD, most shop will take in as rate of 1 to 1. I am getting rate of 1.028 / 1.029 with the local money changer - For every 1k HKD you'll get 1.029k and you can enjoy a good meal / taxi ride for 29 MOP. |

actually for hk it is very easy to walk around yourself but u need to know where you wan to go. for 9d i think you can consider going to macau as well. find the tourist center and you will get alot of help there. with a map in hand you can basically plan and walk urself.
there is a special rate for using octopus card and if u travel frequently on mrt it will really be a hassle to buy single trips tickets. |

QUOTE(Clareen @ Apr 16 2013, 12:05 AM) I'll be in HK in 19 June to 26 June so it's 8 days 7 night yes for sure but do take note macau hotel are much more expensive on weekend. i managed to buy the macau tower pass + buffet dinner for hkd260 on groupon hk and it was so worth it so do keep an eye on their website. i want to go lamma island, Ngong ping 360, oh never forget disneyland as well i spent 5 nights in hk and 3 nights in macau but my trip was more on exploring food. can try hotel like sintra which is located in the middle of basically everything. |
