You may try Golden Crown, located at Nathan Road, TST. I booked my accomo there for my trip in Dec 2012. Should be not bad judging from reviews...

when u reach HKIA, buy the octopus card at their counter there, they will return you with smaller notes

Not too sure on that. Google search has limited info and reviews about the hostel.. hmmm...

How about Ah Shan Hostel? You might need to googled for the reviews.
My friends book for this hostel but only going this Oct.
For the meantime can't give any comment
